A blue Monday in full color.

So, the new week has started, and Wednesday is Christmas.

I saw that the sky was also preparing its Christmas lights :)

So, everyone is now scurrying around to buy christmas presents and the shopkeepers are smiling all of the way to the bank. The sad side of things is that so many overspend during the christmas season, with not a thought of how to cope with Januworry. From childhood we didn't buy christmas presents, or even birthday presents, as it's all just a money game.

I suppose it is because we grew up poor, and the human rejection, and ridicule of the poor lasts in my memories to this day. But one of the things that it taught me is not to rely on others, and to make my own way in life. The jokes hurt and the snide remarks remain with me, especially as we were raised by a single mother.
But, such is life.

The clouds were dancing in a very strong wind.

Some more Christmas lights in the sky.

I latched onto some pied crows, as they were the only birds that will fly in a wind like this.

The crows love to play in the winds, and they can fly very high.

The sky became a darker shade of blue, and still the crows were up doing their thing.

It was also time for the moon to show up.

What I have learned from all of this, is that there is a way for one to rise up. The secret is by giving and caring for all others, as at the same time it helps to heal my own tortured soul. The constant taunts and rejections in my young days only served to make me more determined to get on with my life.

Why I am telling you all of this, is that we have to realise is that all of us have our own roads to walk, and it's how we walk it that matters. Every second that ticks by is tell you that your time is getting shorter in the journey on this planet. Some think that they will live forever, but death levels the playing field eventually between both rich and poor, as with nothing you came in and with nothing you will go out.
Just my way of looking at things, and I don't mean it as a rant.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

You and your Lady Marian are both such an inspiration, always encouraging, and never complaining!
I absolutely agree with you, we prefer giving people gifts in other forms, i.e. tickets to a show, something homemade, etc!
