A bit of sunset for a change.

Tired of all the dark clouds and the rain...

...talking of which, we have a forecast of more rain on its way.

We really have some strange and lovely sunsets here occasionally. For instance, this one had a variety of cloud formations streaming in from the north. The wind was hectic as usual, and I love to see how it plays with the clouds. The winter storms have left us with many areas under emergency repairs, as flooding caused severe damages in many areas. The first day of September is officially the start of the spring season, and some citrus trees here are already in full bloom. Due to all of the rain that we had, this spring season will be one of the most colorful ones.
Or so they say.

First up, I just had to show you this cloud chain link.

A closer look at its center.

Right, here we go with the start of the sunset. (7 photos below).

This below was the second stage, as the clouds gradually started to turn into a golden color.

And finally, it was over and the Drongo had his fill of the last bit of sun.

The spring season and the summer season will be sure to deliver more intense sunsets, and I prefer to pop down to the ocean to get the sun as it sinks behind the mountains into the sea. But fortunately, the sun can swim, and it doesn't drown in the sea. :)) Just a joke, as in reality, the setting sun matched with the ocean waves makes for some fascinating pictures. The sun casts a long golden line on the water that runs up onto the beach, and quiet often I can get the silhouettes of people crossing the line in their walk on the beach. Not too long now to wait for the winter season to change, and then I will share some sunset shots taken at the ocean.
Such is life.

I hope you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.

The clouds in this picture are very beautiful, like a hand holding something.

What a beautiful collection of sunset photos! The way you captured the clouds and the golden hues is mesmerizing. The anticipation of the upcoming spring and summer sunsets at the ocean sounds exciting—I can't wait to see those too. Your humor about the sun swimming was a nice touch. Thank you a lot for sharing these moments with us 😊

Thank you for the compliments and I am glad that you appreciated the post. Summer sunsets are on my list and life would be boring without humor.
