Les quiero compartir este par de pulseras que hice a petición de una amiga y de hecho ella trajo los materiales.
Solo me dijo que le hiciera una cruz. Así que de inmediato pensé en los nudos franciscano, porque se ven muy bien junto ha un dije de cruz o de hecho las podemos hacer con el mismo hilo.

En verdad se hacen muy rápida y debía porque las iba usar para la misa del miércoles de cenizas...así que mientras hablamos le hacía sus pulseras.

Y aunque para mí gusto el hilo era un poco grueso... pero a ella le gustó y además quedó encantada con sus pulseras.

Siempre las hago, pero uso el hilo chino porque de ven más delicadas.. pero bueno yo con gusto se la hago. Y aunque lo bueno de ese naylon fue que al hacer los brazos de la cruz, el hilo lo metí entre las hebras del hilo.
Cosa que no se puede hacer con el hilo chino. Con uno de menos grosor a mi parecer quedarían más linda.
Pero cada quien con lo que le guste y lo mejor, que lo disfrute.

Para ello utilice los siguientes materiales:

Hilo naylon negro de 3 milímetros de grosor, cuentas de madera, un pedacito de pajilla o popote, tijera y yesquero.

• La primera que hice fue la de la cruz en el centro. Para la cual utilice 130 centímetros de hilo.
  Tomando el pedazo de popote y ubicandolo en el centro y encima del hilo. Y con la parte derecha del hilo le di cinco vueltas alrededor del hilo y popote, pasando luego la punta del hilo por dentro del popote. Jalando luego y dándole forma con las puntas de los dedos.
  Haciendo primero la cabeza de la cruz, pero aquí le di cuatro vueltas.
  Luego con un otro hilo de unos 20 centímetros y metiéndole dentro de las hebras del hilo base, hice los brazos de la cruz , haciendo los nudos franciscano con cinco vueltas.

• Una vez realizado los brazos de la cruz, ubico el popote cerca de los brazos y hago el nudo está vez con seis vueltas..ajustándolo bien a los demás nudos.
  Después dejando unos centímetros hago tres nudos franciscano en ambos extremo de la pulsera.
  Dejando siete centímetros y haciendo un nudo en cada punta.. cortando y quemando los sobrantes de hilos.
  Y por último con un hilo de 20 centímetros le hago el cierre corredizo con varios nudos planos.

Para la otra pulsera:

For the other bracelet:

*- comencé haciendo un nudo franciscano en la punta y dejando unos siete centímetros hago otro nudo. Colocando después la cuenta de madera y bien pegadito otro nudo franciscano.
Haciendo así el mismo procedimiento hasta el largo que desees.
Finalizando con un nudo y dejando los siete centímetros y el nudo final.

*- I started by making a Franciscan knot at the tip and leaving about seven centimeters I make another knot. Then placing the wooden bead and another Franciscan knot well attached.

*- Pero en esta hice la cruz en uno de los extremos al final... haciendo el mismo procedimiento que con la otra cruz.
Después le hice el cierre corredizo y corte los sobrantes.

Y de esa manera realice el pedido de mi amiga y yo feliz de complacerla y de que le haya gustado.
