Mi Diario: 13 mayo 2024 // My Diary: May 13 2024

Hola, querido hiver.

Mi fin de semana empezó el jueves. En los últimos cuatro días se me juntaron varios encuentros de esos que llevas tiempo diciendo que tenemos que vernos y que por unos motivos u otros se retrasaban. Hay que ver cómo las casualidades, el destino o vaya usted a saber qué conspiran para que tu vida pase de ser rutinaria y hasta percibida como anodina, a no saber cómo encajar en ella lo que hasta entonces hacías todos los días.

Podía haber postergado alguno de esos encuentros, total, ya puestas a demorar no pasaría nada por distribuirlos en dos semanas. Sin embargo, he preferido darme ese impulso como una especie de prueba para mis capacidades de organización y de resiliencia ante el cambio de planes.

Uno de los consejos para esta semana del Diario para estoicos de Ryan Holiday era que progresar en el arte de vivir mediante la gestión de nuestros comportamientos cotidianos. Soy consciente de que me he acomodado en una zona de confort que, tal como conversamos en el Hive Humpday Hangout Ep.20 que @ph1102 dirigió en el servidor de Discord de @ecency, es conveniente abandonar de vez en cuando si deseamos crecer y avanzar en la vida. Y vale para cualquier ámbito.

Hablando de eso, el encuentro que mantuve con @ninaeatshere el viernes fue el más esperado de los que he mantenido en estos días por ser la primera vez que nos encontrábamos las dos solas. Nos contamos nuestras respectivas trayectorias, cómo llegamos a Hive y qué hemos hecho desde entonces hasta el presente. Además, Nina me sorprendió con un fantástico lote de merchandising de Hive que ha viajado nada menos que ¡desde Hamburgo! Me hizo muchísima ilusión recibirlos, seguro que más de una vez harán algún que otro cameo en mis fotos, jeje.

Le estoy tan agradecida por el detalle de pensar en mí desde tan lejos que hasta me hice un selfie (que tan poco me gustan) para inmortalizar el momento. Y, por supuesto, espero que solo haya sido el primero de muchos más que vengan después (me refiero a los encuentros, no a los selfies, jajaja). A veces te sientes conectada con personas que no conoces físicamente y que cuando te ves cara a cara lo confirmas. Nina es de ese grupo.

El resto de compromisos era con amigas y con mis padres, dentro de la zona de confort que comentaba antes y que se suman al álbum de futuros recuerdos. Sin novedades reseñables, que a estas alturas de la vida es lo mejor que nos puede pasar. Que la vida siga su curso.

Hi, dear hiver.

My weekend started on Thursday. In the last four days I've had several of those meetings that you've been saying for a long time that we have to see each other and that for one reason or another have been delayed. You have to see how coincidences, fate or who knows what conspire to make your life go from being routine and even perceived as anodyne, to not knowing how to fit into it what you had been doing every day until then.

I could have postponed some of those meetings, and given the delays, it would have been fine to spread them over two weeks. However, I preferred to give myself that impulse as a kind of test of my organisational skills and resilience in the face of changing plans.

One of the tips for this week from Ryan Holiday's Diary for Stoics was to progress in the art of living by managing our daily behaviours. I am aware that I have settled into a comfort zone that, as we discussed in the Hive Humpday Hangout Ep.20 that @ph1102 led in the @ecency Discord server, it is convenient to leave from time to time if we want to grow and move forward in life. And this is true for any field.

Speaking of which, the meeting I had with @ninaeatshere on Friday was the most anticipated of the ones I've had in recent days as it was the first time the two of us had met alone. We told each other about our respective trajectories, how we came to Hive and what we have done since then until now. Nina also surprised me with a fantastic batch of Hive merchandise that has travelled all the way from, Hamburg no less! I was very happy to receive them, I'm sure they'll make a cameo in my photos more than once, hehe.

I'm so grateful for the detail of thinking of me from so far away that I even took a selfie (which I don't like so much) to immortalise the moment. And of course, I hope it was only the first of many more to come (I'm talking about meetings, not selfies, hahaha). Sometimes you feel connected with people you don't know physically and when you see them face to face you confirm it. Nina belongs to that group.

The rest of the engagements were with friends and my parents, within the comfort zone I mentioned before, and that will be added to the album of future memories. Nothing new to report, which at this stage of life is the best thing that can happen to us. May life take its course.
