Tras del complejo correctivo del pasado fin de semana en su encuentro liguero ante el AC Milán, el Napoli -virtual campeón de Italia- habría de cumplir con su visita a la región de Apulia, expresamente al Stadio Comunale Via del Mare o también conocido como Ettore Giardiniero en la ciudad barroca de Lecce. Los de Spalletti tenían que cumplir con su compromiso ante el US Lecce que, tras haber vencido a la Atalanta, viajaba con cinco partidos perdidos al hilo y la tremenda necesidad de sumar para buscar amarrar la permanencia en el máximo circuito del Calcio.
Los de Spalletti necesitaban ganar no porque exista alguna especie de presión en la clasificación liguera de cara a conquistar el Scudetto de la presente campaña, sino para recuperar las sensaciones positivas mientras velan armas para el encuentro de de ida en los cuartos de final de la UEFA Champions League en San Siro ante el AC Milán que les terminó arrollando justamente la jornada anterior de la Serie A. Aunque muchos digan que Europa es otra cosa, el futbolista es humano antes de ser futbolista y el ser humano se guía por sensaciones; los Partenopei requerían encontrar esas buenas sensaciones que tienen su génesis en el buen funcionamiento.
After last weekend's complex setback in their league match against AC Milan, Napoli -virtual champions of Italy- had to pay a visit to the Apulia region, specifically to the Stadio Comunale Via del Mare or also known as Ettore Giardiniero in the baroque city of Lecce. Spalletti's side had to fulfil their commitment against US Lecce who, after having beaten Atalanta, travelled with five games lost in a row and the tremendous need to win in order to stay in the top flight of the Calcio.
Spalletti's men needed to win not because there is any kind of pressure in the league standings to win the Scudetto this season, but to regain a positive feeling as they prepare for the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final at the San Siro against AC Milan, who beat them the day before in Serie A. Although many say that Europe is something else, the footballer is human before being a footballer and the human being is guided by feelings; the Partenopei needed to find those good feelings that have their genesis in good performance.

La victoria llegó para los de Spalletti, no así el buen fútbol, el Napoli ha dado la impresión de seguir aturdido y desorientado tras el abrupto varapalo que los rossoneri les propinaron en su propio patio; el conjunto napolitano parecía perdido en la grama del Ettore Giardiniero y aún con ello encontraron la gracia de obtener un resultado positivo. Basta con ilustrar un poco el partido de Khvicha Kvaratskhelia para hacer una radiografía profunda de la inoperancia del virtual campeón de la Serie A. ¡Las dudas y los miedos parecen estar flotando en el ambiente del Napoli de cara a la importante noche de Champions que tiene por delante! No vaya a ser que los de Spalletti se conviertan en la novia que no llega a la boda.
El Lecce tiene aún cierta ventaja con respecto a los tres últimos clasificados en esta temporada de la Serie A, no obstante ya había hecho la “travesura” de provocar un 0-0 en el Diego Armando Maradona y en su patio querían puntuar nuevamente ante un Napoli que llegaba aturdido, pero no ha podido ser, más por demérito propio que por la brillantez del fútbol napolitano, que hoy, ha vuelto a brillar por su ausencia.

Spalletti se decantó por Raspadori en punta en vez de por Gio Simeone, aún a la espera de Victor Osimhen y la evolución de su lesión. Sabía, el estratega del cuadro napolitano, que el choque no sería fácil más allá de la seguidilla de malos resultados del conjunto Giallorosso que en lo que va de temporada derrotó en dos ocasiones a la Atalanta, también batió al sublíder Lazio, sacó igualadas ante el Milán y la Roma, hizo sufrir a la Juve y además les había sacado el ya mencionado empate en tierras napolitanas. El conjunto dirigido por Marco Baroni se plantó con órden y en algunas ocasiones propuso latigazos verticales que hicieron sufrir a la defensa de Spalletti.
In the end, the 90 minutes at Lecce were far more complex than one might have thought, but this is a season in which Spalletti's side have had almost everything going for them. A Napoli side who, so far this season, have been almost always dominant and brilliant, played a lacklustre and, moreover, long-suffering game to take another step towards the league title and, in the process, prevent their fans' anticipated celebrations from turning into a baleful curse of sorts. Napoli, after a hard-fought win away to Lecce, are now four wins from nine games away to secure the long-awaited championship.
Spalletti opted for Raspadori up front instead of Gio Simeone, still waiting for Victor Osimhen and the evolution of his injury. The Neapolitan tactician knew that the clash would not be easy given the Giallorossi's run of poor results, which so far this season has seen them beat Atalanta twice, beat runners-up Lazio, earn draws against Milan and Roma, make Juve suffer and also earn them the aforementioned draw on Neapolitan soil. Marco Baroni's side were tidy in their approach and on a few occasions they were able to put in some vertical attacks that made Spalletti's defence suffer.

Al minuto 18’, el Napoli se abría el paso hacia la ventaja con un centro templado por Kim Min Jae que previamente retrasó la esférica para una combinación entre “el Chucky” y Zambo Anguissa que devolvió la pelota al coreano para que este, a su vez, la sirviese de forma inmejorable a la testa de “il capitano” Di Lorenzo que firmaba su segundo tanto en lo que va de campaña por Serie A. 0-1 adelantaba el Napoli, pero la cosa no iba a pintar sencilla pues los de Spalletti no encontraban el ritmo ni el nivel de fútbol que han venido manejando en la campaña.
El Napoli no terminó de echar andar en el resto de la primera parte y al minuto 52 el Lecce que se basó en el orden y la intensidad logró emparejar los cartones; el larguero había salvado a Meret en primera instancia, pero el que la sigue la consigue y Federico Di Francesco terminó consiguiendo el empate con una electrizante media vuelta que dejó sin capacidad de reacción al arquero del conjunto Partenopeo. 1-1 y el Napoli encajaba gol de un equipo que no marcaba desde el 19 de febrero y sumaba 5 derrotas al hilo; la cosa apuntaba a un nuevo pinchazo que encendería ciertas alarmas de cara al miércoles.
La cosa no tenía buen color para el Napoli que se antojaba incapaz de cambiar el ritmo al partido más allá de manejar la pelota mucho más que los locales, pero fue el propio Lecce quien se encargó de cambiar las tornas por medio de fuego amigo, Kvicha la dejó de tacón y llovió un centro al área que Gallo atacó pésimamente y Falcone completó aquel hórrido cuadro Giallorosso con una pésima reacción buscando atrapar la pelota. Concierto de despropósitos del conjunto local que le brindaron la victoria a una apagada visita que sigue acercándose al título del Calcio.

Things were not looking good for Napoli who seemed incapable of changing the rhythm of the game beyond handling the ball much more than the home side, but it was Lecce themselves who turned the tables through friendly fire, Kvicha back-heeled and rained a cross into the box which Gallo attacked poorly and Falcone completed that dreadful Giallorosso picture with a dreadful reaction in trying to catch the ball. The home side's concert of inanities gave the win to a dull visitors who continue to close in on the Calcio title.

Esa victoria sufrida al Napoli le permite ganar confianza, después de ser derrotado por goleada ante el AC Milán.
En cierta parte veo que el Napoli, al estar sobrado en la liga le resta un poco de intensidad en esos partidos; ya con el Scudetto en el bolsillo, su carta mayor que debe jugarse está en Europa, dónde ese partido será una batalla campal, dónde el Milán ya dió el primer golpe, el psicológico! Para recordarle al Napoli quien es una historia viviente del fútbol italiano.
Querido amigo, al Napoli no se le escapará este scudetto algo parecido a lo que ocurre en España con el Barsa.

Totalmente de acuerdo contigo, mi querido amigo. Solo que la tendencia del Napoli a ganar este Scudetto ha sido marcada casi desde el primer tercio de la temporada; lo del Barça tiene un par de meses de haber tomado forma. Ambos serán campeones incontestables.
