Y es que ni en mis más aventurados sueños imagine encontrarte, tan real, tan terrenal y a la vez tan mítica. Desde este frente en que te escribo añoro tu sonrisa que es poesía incombustible, etérea e inquebrantable.
And not even in my most adventurous dreams could I have imagined to find you, so real, so earthly and yet so mythical. From this front where I write to you, I long for your smile, which is incombustible, ethereal and unbreakable poetry.
Pienso en ti a toda hora,
lo hago a diario
y hoy en especial,
pues eres poesía.
De tiempo atrás,
mis letras llevan tu nombre
y mi poesía no es otra
que no seas tú.
Poesía eres allí donde te pares,
y allá dónde me encuentre;
sea bien, en medio de la selva
al fondo de la mar salada
o en el más recóndito rincón
de este planeta que te vio nacer.
Hoy escribo a la poesía,
mientras escribo a mi musa;
Ambas únicas e indivisibles.
Amores profundos que,
entre mis letras, viven.

I think about you all the time,
I do it every day
and today in particular
for you are poetry.
From long ago
my letters bear your name
and my poetry is no other
other than you.
Poetry you are wherever you stand,
and anywhere you find me;
be it in the middle of the jungle
at the bottom of the salty sea
or in the most secluded corner
of this planet where you were born.
Today I write to poetry,
while writing to my muse;
Both unique and indivisible.
Deep loves that,
between my letters, live.
