No había pasado ni media hora cuando los dos hombres medulares del dibujo de Guardiola se vieron envueltos en una combinación con Bernardo Silva, que fue, con diferencia, el mejor hombre el terreno, Stones activó al luso por la banda y Bernardo halló combinación ibérica con Rodri que sembró en un recorte a Musiala y se inventó un disparo excelso que sacudió las redes de Sommer e hizo estallar el júbilo en el Etihad.

Los de Tuchel buscaron reaccionar tras la reanudación, casi todo por conducto de Sané que no estuvo fino y que solo encontraba cierto cobijo en Jamal Musiala, dos nombres para pelear ante todo un City que funcionaba para beneplácito de Guardiola y de su feligresía en la tribuna. Tuchel se apersonó en Manchester mucho más pendiente de lo que hiciera o dejara de hacer el City, buscando un paso en falso que jamás llegó y tras el golpe de Rodri, los suyos no supieron qué hacer, porque él mismo, en la sala de mandos se quedó perplejo ante el problema que los Cityzens le planteaban.

Tuchel's side looked to react after the restart, mostly through Sané who was not at his best and could only find some cover in Jamal Musiala, two names to fight for against a City side that was working to the delight of Guardiola and his fans in the stands. Tuchel showed up in Manchester much more aware of what City were doing or not doing, looking for a false step that never came and after Rodri's blow, his men did not know what to do, because he himself, in the control room, was perplexed by the problem that the Cityzens posed.
