El City no presentó su lustre futbolístico usual sobre la grama del coloso muniqués, pero supo resistir los envites de un equipo bávaro que buscó subirse al carro de lo anímico, con el aliento de su gente que, en una pancarta en la Curva Sur, les instaba a “pelear con dignidad hasta el final” y así lo hicieron las huestes de Tuchel que, echaron en falta tener a un finalizador -como el que sí tenían en la figura de Robert Lewandowski-.
Es inevitable referir a la figura del polaco en un partido en que el Bayern de Múnich requería de goles para poder revertir la paliza cosechada en el Etihad; los bávaros generaron las mejores ocasiones del encuentro, aquella de Sané a los 20 minutos de juego que pudo cambiar el rumbo, varias opciones en la figura de un Coman tan punzante como carente de puntería y alguna más en los botines de Choupo-Moting que no es, ni será ese delantero de cepa que el Bayern se había acostumbrado a ostentar para finiquitar el mar de opciones que suele generar cuando todas las piezas de su maquinaria están bien aceitadas.

La Champions League, sobre todo, en estas instancias de matar a morir a ida y vuelta suele generarnos noches mágicas y memorables, la del Allianz Arena no lo ha sido para el Bayern por el resultado en la eliminatoria y tampoco lo fue para Guardiola que, aunque agradecerá el plantarse en semifinales, no estará contento con el funcionamiento de los suyos, una premisa que el autor asume simple y sencillamente basándose en el milimétrico perfeccionismo del estratega catalán.
Guardiola no movió una sola pieza del once que le dio la abultada ventaja en el juego de ida, la misma artillería Cityzen saltó al campo del Allianz Arena buscando completar un trámite que llevaban bien avanzado, el poderío que ostenta el City de medio campo hacia el frente es tan vasto y complejo de contener. Tuchel, por su parte, quitó Cancelo para dar entrada a Davies y optó por Choupo-Moting para liderar el ataque de los suyos en lugar de Serge Gnabry. El plan de Tuchel invitaba a mantener la calma en la construcción de juego, buscando evitar los errores que suelen cometerse cuando la precipitación se apodera de un equipo.

Los Cityzens están acostumbrados a tener la pelota en sus pies y, con ella, someter a quien tienen enfrente y, durante gran parte de los 90 minutos, los de Guardiola no gozaron de esa variable que les hace sentirse cómodos en el desarrollo de un encuentro, aún así encontraron como sacarle los colores al Bayern que les estaba superando en intensidad y fútbol en buena parte gracias a un Dayot Upamecano que volvió a ser el eslabón más débil de Tuchel, un fuera de juego le salvó de ver la tarjeta roja y después cometió un penalti que podía definir la eliminatoria de cara al descanso, pero Haaland lo echó por las nubes de forma inexplicable para seguir alimentando la ligera esperanza bávara.

Pero toda la vida que les dio aquel penalti fallado por Haaland se le iba yendo de las manos al Bayern con cada fallo en el frente de ataque y, como es obvio, con el correr del cronómetro; los de Tuchel eran todo desborde y nada de efectividad, la constante del Bayern en esta temporada. Perdonaba el Bayern Múnich pero no volvió a perdonar Haaland que, poco antes de cumplirse la hora de hostilidades, sí que embocó la segunda ocasión que tuvo para lavarse el mal sabor de boca de haber fallado desde los once pasos y para, de paso, sellar una eliminatoria que ya venía tomando color.
La suerte estaba echada en medio de la noche muniquesa, el Bayern no pudo apelar a su grandeza histórica para competir contra la grandeza de un proyecto que se ha ido afianzando con el paso del tiempo y una inversión millonaria. El Manchester City se plantó en las semifinales de la UEFA Champions League y habrá de volver a verse las caras con el Real Madrid en la misma instancia en la que lo hizo la temporada anterior. El gol de Joshua Kimmich desde el manchón solo sirvió para dejar un pequeño rastro del honor que la afición demandaba del conjunto rojo. Guardiola ha llevado al City a su tercera semifinal de Champions consecutiva y con Haaland en el frente de ataque, su City luce aún más intimidante. ¡Vaya choque nos espera entre Cityzens y Merengues!

Con los deberes hecho en casa el City fue a Alemania a mantener el resultado y confrontar esos fantasmas qué lo han capultado en ciertas temporadas, el Bayern intento desde el primer minuto Sane ha sido de los mejores jugadores qué más estragos hizo sin embargo las oportunidades fallidas fueron un factor clave para un City qué sin dar su mayor potencial sabía qué solo debían controlar gran parte del partido lo cual les fue suficiente para pasar de ronda y ahora nuevamente enfrentarse al Real Madrid.

Primero que nada, quisiera disculparme por la respuesta tardía, pero la carga de trabajo me tiene rebasado y he tenido que dar prioridad a otras cosillas, pero aquí estoy... ¡tarde, pero seguro!
Los Cityzens se plantaron en Alemania con la tranquilidad que te da el llevar un buen colchón de ventaja y se toparon con un Bayern que luchó y les complicó muchísimo el desarrollo de esos 90 minutos del juego de vuelta, pero que adoleció la figura de un killer como lo era Lewandowski en sus filas.
Ese duelo entre el City y el Madrid es una joya imperdible, saltarán chispas en ambos frentes. Como Madridista que soy, me siento ansioso por que llegue el duelo de ida en el Bernabéu. ¡Todo el respeto del mundo al City, miedo ninguno!

El city fué a Alemania 🇩🇪 a cerrar el Pase, no jugaron igual que en el partido de ida, al Bayern se le nota la falta de un delantero que facture como Robert, simplemente se les nota esa pieza faltante, pienso que hubiese sido si Haland hubiese fichado por los Babaros? Una locura!!! Indetenibles

Absolutamente, los de Guardiola fueron a cerrar el pase sin forzar las marchas y al Bayern le hace falta un killer de área. Si Haaland estuviera en el Bayern estaría rompiéndola igual que en el City, el noruego es una bestia del gol. ¡Aún me cuesta creer que tenga detractores!
