Good morning, today it's good to start with the important things so... Happy Easter everyone!
I am not a connoisseur of religion, I know that for many today is the day of resurrection; for others it's the day when a dear rabbit brings chocolate eggs to the children, risking ending up in their fathers' barbecues!
For me, it is simply a day of celebration to be spent joyfully with the family; whatever the meaning of Easter is for you, I wish you to live it to the fullest and to have a beautiful smile to wear today.

I decided to write this post before lunch because then I don't intend to go near the pc until tomorrow and, in any case, if I do, just to play a bit of Football Manager which I haven't opened for at least a month heh heh!

Obviously with the permission of his wife who, probably, after the colossal meal that awaits us and, having said goodbye to the relatives, will allow herself a mega pennica!

Once the "Easter" duties have been fulfilled, let's come to us, today for the HiveBloPoMo we talk about names and, more precisely, I am asked which name I would have liked to have.

Well, here perhaps I will surprise you but, in reality, I like my name indeed, as you can see my names from the title and, although I have thought about it a lot on other occasions, I have never had the desire to change my name or any name i like it better than mine.
Mind you, there are many beautiful names and I'm not saying that mine are the most beautiful ever, but they suit me and I like them.

The story of my name is linked to a particular anecdote.

Like so many things in my life actually lol!

Until the age of about 25 I always called myself and, consequently, I always signed only with the name Antonio; I later found out that my full name is officially Antonio Giovanni because when registering me at the registry office they made a simple but not trivial mistake, they forgot a comma between the two names.
It seems bullshit but for me it meant having to change all the documents and, moreover, I was told that legally everything I had signed up to that moment had zero validity since Antonio Ventura did not exist.
Honestly, I think it's bullshit and, I imagine that, legally speaking, if I had signed something that brought me an advantage, rest assured that some technicalities would certainly have been found; in any case, since that day I have always been called and signed Antonio Giovanni.
Naturally my friends continue to call me Totò, Anto and someone Pikkio, but I confess that, in Avis for example, some call me Giovanni and I don't mind that.
If they called me Antonio Giovanni I'd like it anyway, indeed, it sounds really good, almost noble eh eh!

Antonio Giovanni of the Ventura Cavaliere del Lavoro of Reggio Calabria, azz! I just miss the balls on the coat of arms!

Don't make obvious jokes, we're talking about coats of arms, lol!
Among other things I thought of creating a coat of arms for our family, I think I'll use my logo, a shield, the motto and something beautiful will come out of it heh heh!

Let's go back to my names, I want to explain their meaning very quickly.

Antonio means: "He or she who precedes, faces, fights; or thriving, useful".

I think the meaning of the name reflects my personality, so I couldn't have a better one; I like its sound, I like what it means, in short... Rock it!

John instead means: "gift or grace of God, but even God has heard, the Lord is merciful".

This also makes a lot of sense since my Mother and Father made a vow to Pope John since I did not arrive and, if I was born, they would have given me John as my middle name; immediately after, my Mom became pregnant with me and therefore my parents fulfilled the vote, however, unknowingly they did even more because, in the end, Giovanni is in all respects part of my first name heh heh!

The name is something important, at least for me, it identifies and distinguishes us; I was born Antonio I grew up and later became Antonio Giovanni and, behind this name of mine, there is the whole journey I have made up to now and what I will do until my last day on this earth.
So no, I wouldn't like to have any name other than mine, I'm happy with what I have and I really like it!

Buongiorno, oggi è bene partire con le cose importanti quindi... Buona Pasqua a tutti!
Non sono un conoscitore della religione, so che per molti oggi è giorno di resurrezione; per altri è il giorno in cui un caro coniglio porta delle uova di cioccolato ai bambini, rischiando peraltro di finire nei barbecue dei padri!
Per me, semplicemente, è un giorno di festa da passare gioiosamente insieme alla famiglia; quale che sia per voi il significato della Pasqua vi auguro di viverla al meglio e di avere per la giornata di oggi un bel sorriso da vestire.

Ho deciso di scrivere questo post prima di pranzo perché poi avrei intenzione di non avvicinarmi al pc fino a domani e, comunque, se lo faccio, giusto per giocare un po' a Football Manager che non apro da almeno un mesetto eh eh!

Ovviamente col permesso della consorte che, probabilmente, dopo la mangiata colossale che ci aspetta e, salutati i parenti, si concederà una mega pennica!

Assolti i doveri "Pasqualizi" veniamo a noi, oggi per l'HiveBloPoMo si parla di nomi e, più precisamente, mi si chiede quale nome avrei voluto avere.

Beh, qui forse Ti stupirò ma, in realtà, mi piace il mio nome anzi, come puoi vedere da titolo i miei nomi e, per quanto ci abbia pensato tanto anche in altre occasioni, non ho mai avuto voglia di cambiare nome e nessun nome mi piace più dei miei.
Intendiamoci, di nomi belli ne esistono tanti e non dico che i miei siano i più belli in assoluto, però mi si addicono e mi piacciono.

La storia del mio nome è legata ad un aneddoto particolare.

Come tante cose della mia vita effettivamente lol!

Fino all'età di circa 25 anni io mi sono sempre chiamato e, di conseguenza, ho sempre firmato solo con il nome Antonio; in seguito ho scoperto, che il mio nome per intero ufficialmente è Antonio Giovanni poiché all'anagrafe registrandomi hanno fatto un errore, semplice ma non banale, hanno dimenticato una virgola tra i due nomi.
Sembra una cavolata ma per me ha comportato dover cambiare tutti i documenti e, inoltre, mi sono sentito dire che legalmente tutto ciò che avevo fino a quel momento firmato aveva validità zero poiché Antonio Ventura non esisteva.
Onestamente credo sia una cazzata e, immagino che, a livello legale, se avessi firmato qualcosa che mi portava un vantaggio stanne certo che qualche cavillo lo avrebbero trovato sicuramente; in ogni caso da quel giorno io mi sono chiamato e sempre firmato Antonio Giovanni.
Gli amici naturalmente continuano a chiamarmi Totò, Anto e qualcuno Pikkio, ti confesso però che, in Avis ad esempio alcuni mi chiamano Giovanni e, la cosa, non mi dispiace.
Se mi chiamassero Antonio Giovanni mi piacerebbe ugualmente anzi, suona proprio bene, quasi da nobile eh eh!

Non fare battute scontate, stiamo parlando di stemmi araldici, lol!
Tra le altre cose ho pensato di creare uno stemma araldico per la nostra famiglia, credo che userò il mio logo, uno scudo, il motto e ne verrà fuori qualcosa di bello eh eh!

Torniamo ai miei nomi, desidero in maniera molto veloce spiegare il loro significato.

Antonio significa: "Colui o colei che precede, affronta, combatte; oppure fiorente, utile".

Credo che il significato del nome rifletta la mia personalità, quindi non potrei averne uno migliore; mi piace il suo suono, mi piace cosa significa, insomma... Spacca!

Giovanni invece significa: "dono o grazia di Dio, ma anche Dio ha esaudito, il Signore è misericordioso".

Anche questo ha molto senso poiché mia Madre e mio Padre fecero un voto a Papa Giovanni visto che non arrivavo e, se fossi nato, mi avrebbero messo come secondo nome Giovanni; subito dopo, la mia Mamma rimase incinta di me e quindi i miei genitori assolsero al voto peraltro, in maniera inconsapevole fecero anche di più in quanto, alla fine, Giovanni è a tutti gli effetti parte del mio primo nome eh eh!

Il nome è qualcosa di importante, almeno per me, identifica e ci contraddistingue; io sono nato Antonio sono cresciuto e in seguito sono diventato Antonio Giovanni e, dietro a questo mio nome, c'è tutto il percorso fatto fino ad oggi e quello che farò fino all'ultimo mio giorno su questa terra.
Quindi no, non mi piacerebbe avere nessun nome diverso dal mio, sono felice di quello che ho e mi piace davvero tanto!
