Watching Hollywood movies while growing up ignited this particular desire in me. I wanted to experience what it feels like to camp in the woods. I wanted to know what it feels like to be immersed by nature. To be surrounded by beautiful tall trees, hearing the sounds of different species of birds singing sweet melodies, and feeling the pure and fresh breeze cuddling me, then at night lying under the moon while gazing at it together with the stars
Unfortunately, that dream is not going to be possible because of the nature of insecurity in my country. And if ever it happens, that will be outside the borders of my country.
That being said, I have channeled my focus instead to going for a holiday in a city hotel because it's more accessible and secure. This alternative has become something I and my cousin are planning and working on; we are planning a getaway with just us and our spouses. Though not finalized, we are aiming to make it happen sometime next year.

Beyond the prestige of lodging in such a serene environment is the fact that you get to meet the creme de la creme of society there. A privilege you may not get, walking the streets. I have walked into life-changing relationships that have literally shifted the trajectory of my mind and intellect, just in those locations. Not to talk of the financial leverage and both business as well as life opportunities I have been brought into, simply because I met and became friends with someone on a higher rung of the financial ladder.

You have given a practical opinion. I also want to escape the crowd of people and find serenity in the woods, but that would be a lot of chaos (maybe as I have never been camping).

It struck me while reading that your desire to be in nature and enjoy it and its wonderful scenery is a need that Hollywood movies awakened in you.
I understand the insecurity issue. It's the same for me but I've been looking at options with hiking groups, and not expose myself to danger alone.
Hotels certainly have many advantages. Some are better than others, plus they are ideal for enjoying many communities, services and also, as you say, interacting with other people in an atmosphere of leisure and enjoyment.
