Saludos amigos de Hive y de @fulldeportes, hoy estuve haciendo un balance y estudio por los roster de los equipos de la liga Venezolana de Beisbol (LVBP) profesional y he notado que una cantidad de peloteros; la próxima temporada ya no estarán en algunos equipos al menos no como peloteros.
Jugadores que han marcado una época en el beisbol, pero todo tiene su final, la edad influye mucho en el rendimiento de estos atletas, además una camada de jugadores jóvenes llegan todos los años a la liga con talento.
Lanzadores que ya la recta no les camina como cuando tenían 20 años, jugadores de posición que nos deslumbraron con su bate y su guante en cada juego; posiblemente jueguen su última temporada este año.

Alberto González, un pelotero de mil batallas, inicio su carrera en el 2005 con Pastora de los Llanos, desde entonces ha pasado por varios equipos aquí en Venezuela, jugo en grandes ligas, fue campeón este año con Senadores de Caracas en la Liga Mayor de Béisbol Profesional y fue pieza fundamental para que los Navegantes del Magallanes ganara el campeonato en 2022; "El tico" como se le conoce ya cuenta con 41 años de edad, a nivel profesional ha disputado 20 temporadas y ha dicho a la prensa que esta será si ultima campaña.
Wilson Ramos, otro pelotero que brillo en grandes ligas, también anuncio que se retira este año, muy querido por la afición de los Tigres de Aragua y respetado en Venezuela, Ramos se convirtió en la década pasada, se convirtió en un referente entre los receptores venezolanos. Tiene en su historial el haber sido campeón en la Serie del Caribe en dos ocasiones, 2009 con los Tigres de Aragua y 2024 con los Tiburones de La Guaira.
Ramos y González actualmente juegan con los Bravos de Margarita, han sido ese tipo pelotero que a uno como fanático siempre quiere que les vaya bien, aun jugando en contra del equipo a quien uno le va. Gracias por darnos tantos momentos de alegría y gracias por la calidad con la que han jugado hasta ahora; el mayor de los éxitos para estos dos grandes de nuestra pelota.

Ramos and Gonzalez are currently playing with the Bravos de Margarita, they have been the kind of players that you as a fan always want to do well, even playing against the team you support. Actualmente, son pocos los jugadores mayores de 37 años que están dentro de los roster de los 8 equipos del circuito rentado, Cardenales de Lara tiene a cuatro peloteros que sobrepasan esta edad, el resto de los clubes solo cuentan con dos, mientras el equipo más joven son Los Leones del Caracas. En las Águilas del Zulia, milita el histórico cerrador de los Tiburones de La Guaira, el zurdo Gregory Infante lanzador que por años vistió la camiseta de los escualos, cuenta con 37 años de edad y aunque no ha mencionado que desea retirarse, los años parecieran acelerar este proceso.
En las Águilas también está el lanzador Rafael Cova, excompañero de infante en La Guaira, en la década pasada tenía una recta poderosa, fue un relevista muy efectivo, en la actualidad tiene 42 años, es el lanzador venezolano más viejo de la liga, asomo la posibilidad de retirarse este año de la LVBP dependiendo de su rendimiento, pero afirmo que iba a jugar dos años más en la liga mayor de beisbol profesional aquí en Venezuela.
A mi parecer creo que la presencia de este par de lanzadores en Las Águilas es para ayudar a los jóvenes que vienen en ascenso, de igual manera quedara en el recuerdo de la fanaticada los momentos apremiantes de estos muchachos.

En cardenales de Lara, tres lanzadores estarían en su última temporada, Diego Moreno, de 37 años de edad, es un relevista efectivo, aunque sus actuaciones han pasado desapercibidas durante años, pareciera que puede jugar uno o dos años más. Jose Ascanio, otro lanzador con bastante recorrido, con 16 campañas disputadas, logro hacer el equipo durante la pretemporada, a sus 39 años pareciera estar quemando sus últimos cartuchos. Los Crepusculares aún tienen las esperanzas de tener a Raúl Rivero, veterano y efectivo lanzador derecho con 18 zafras, ha demostrado coraje y ganas de seguir batallando, pero las lesiones pueden pasarle factura y se estaría retirando en este 2024 es tanto así que aún no ha debutado.
Gorkis Hernández es un veterano jardinero de 37 años, que todavía puede ayudar a cualquier equipo, su rendimiento ha mermado un poco, si se mantiene sano volverá la otra campaña.

Alcidez Escobar y Yangervis Solarte con 37 años cada uno, representan la experiencia en el infield de La Guaira, el primero de ellos pareciera tener un puesto asegurado en el equipo por su destacada actuacion en la pasada campaña, mientras que Solarte esta buscando un espacio para prolongar el retiro y creo que lo esta logrando ya que en 27 turnos ha conectado 9 imparables entre ellos un jonron. Para nadie es un secreto que el retiro de ellos esta cerca todo depende como terminen esta temporada.
En los Navegantes del Magallanes con 39 años, junior Guerra es el proximo candidato en decir adios al monticulo, Guerra ha sido uno de los lanzadores con mayor participacion en las ultimas campañas y al igual que Raul Rivero han sido brazos efectivos con sus organizaciones.
En Caribes de Anzoategui viene un proceso de cambios y los veteranos parecieran no tener puestos fijo, lo que me hace pensar que Niuman Romero optara por el retiro al final de temporada.
