THE JOY YOU GET WORKING AS A FREELANCER

Hello Hivians

Welcome to my blog

I have actually come to think about working as a full-time staff or as a freelancer which is more preferable and without having much thought about it, I quickly chose freelancer. I wouldn't say that a full-time job is bad, it's just the benefits you get when working halftime.

I have worked for someone for about two years and I know how it feels to not have your freedom or say when it comes to your work. I worked in an organization where we do both morning and night shifts, though it was very difficult adapting to that life at the beginning but I had no choice. As a full time staff, you have many requirements you need to meet up with and you can easily be called on anytime even when you're supposed to be off duty to come to work and you definitely can't say no. Left for me, I would rather like to be my own boss than taking others from anyone but in the choice of becoming a freelance or a full-time staff, I will choose a freelancer because of some of the benefits.

Like people will always say that time is money and working as a full-time staff, all your time will be given to your work. You might not even have time for your family or children depending on the kind of job you're doing. Working as a freelancer, you will have enough time to plan your next strategy or what next you want to do with your life aside working all day.

As a freelancer, you have the freedom to do whatever you want and to make your own decisions, no much workloads and you determine what you want to do, if you want to add extra job to yourself or not. I love the freedom that comes with freelance. I love the idea of you engaging in other things or businesses without being questioned about it.

Thanks for reading!!

Freelancing is like having your own freedom to do things according to your own schedule. No one is a boss over you, but you.

Who born you to say no? Boss in full time work use you till you become useless to yourself and family, it's like been in slavery. But as a freelancer you are the controller of your time.
Your views are well understood. Nice write up!

It seems everyone just wants that freedom 😀. Both sides have their merits and it depends on where we meet ourselves. No matter what we say, top CEOs of Microsoft, Google etc are employees too and they are chopping life.

There is struggle but there is fulfillment of your soul. I always think that I am needed to help rather than I need to get paid because I did the work.

Freelancing gives us the time full time jobs cannot give, if you are disciplined, freelancing is the sure way then.
