NOBODY THOUGHT SHE WOULD MAKE IT BUT SHE SUCCEEDED AT LAST

I will be telling you a true life story about a friend of mine, I met her in junior secondary school which is high school. When I first entered the school because I was transferred from my previous school to a new one, I had to make new set of friends, this my friend was the first person that approached me and introduced herself to me and she took me round the whole school and before you know it, we became tight friends.

Meeting someone for the first time, you won't know the kind of problems he/she might be facing at that moment, she became the first friend I made in school. With time I got to know somethings about her, although she never wanted to tell me anything about her but due to the closeness, we practically share things together to the extent that when i bring food or snacks from the house, we'll share it together.

When I found out that she was only hiding under a shell, I became more eager to know her story. It happened that she came from a very poor background and her parents couldn't sponsor her in school so they had to give her out to someone which they always call house help in Nigeria. She was taking care of three kids who never regarded her as anything, her guidance never allowed any of her friends to visit her, I could remember the first time I told her I wanted to come over to her place, she quickly denied my request little did I know that she was only trying to stay out of trouble.

The guidance thought they were doing more than she needed so they refused to send her to the university. I could remember when she came to me and told me that she doesn't know her fate after high school and one of the teachers even made mockery of her that she's eventually going to end up not getting a better education after knowing her background.

I consoled her and made her believed that God will never abandon her. After high school, we departed and she went back to the village because her guidance didn't want her services anymore, she pleaded with them but they refused. As time goes on, she saw a very kind hearted man who took her matter so serious and decided to send her to school since she was eager to go to school.

I was very happy when she call me and told me that she has finally gotten admission in the university and it was a God saint that is taking care of the bills. My advice for her then was that she should make sure she concentrate on her students and become someone great and she should remember where she's coming from. It was so emotional when when spoke and she really studied hard in school.

As I'm speaking to you now, she's already a graduate and she's back to get her master degree. This is someone, people thought she had no future, she believed in herself and God sent a helper to her.

We spoke of recent and she told me she will be rounding up her master degree by the end of this year and by then she will get a better job in order to take care of her family. I was very proud of her and now those that made mockery of her are even ashamed when she passes by. It's so amazing how God changes one's story into something great.
