Giant Kurgan the Frenchman
Robert Maillett is a Canadian professional wrestler and actor known by the stage name Kurrgan in the World Wrestling Federation. Early in his career, Maileth wrestled as Giant Kurgan in Renegade Wrestling Alliance, defeating Giant Warrior at the end of the feud between the two. Maillet soon moved on to the Atlantic Grand Prix fight, winning by a wide margin. Shortly after, Maillet was recruited by the World Wrestling Federation and sent to the United States Wrestling Association, the company's developmental territory, where he joined the Truth Commission (Commander, Sniper, Recon and Tank ) under the name The Interrogator. Working with Recon, Interrogator won the USWA Tag Team Championship three times.
In June, the Truth Commission returned to the main WWF roster, this time headed by Jekyll. After a long winning streak, the group entered into a feud with the Disciples of the Apocalypse (8-Ball, Chainz, Crush & Skull). The feud culminated at Survivor Series in 1997, where The Enquirer eliminated the entire opposing team after finishing last for his team. The Truth Commission was soon dissolved. The researcher was later renamed Kurgan and pursued a solo career, but was portrayed as a monstrous man manipulated by his manager Jekyll, who often beat him.
Kurgan appeared at the Royal Rumble and entered at #12 before being eliminated by four wrestlers. Jekyll later introduced another wrestler, the masked Golgo, and formed a heel team called Oddities with Giant Silva and other wrestlers. However, Jackie left them and remained inactive until the team reintroduced her to Sable, presenting her as a fun personality, dancing her entrance and not caring much about the outcome of the battle. Their competitive debut came at SummerSlam, where they easily defeated Kayentai (TAKA Michinoku, Dick Togo, Mens Teioh and Sho Funaki). During the event, they were accompanied by the Insane Clown Posse, who constantly joined them, acting as administrators and assisting in battle.
In 2007, Myre played the role of a giant berserker in the film "300." In 2009 he appeared in the film "Sherlock Holmes." He punched Robert Downey Jr. during filming. I accidentally fainted. On December 16, 2009, Downey said on The Late Show with David Letterman that Maillett was "ten times more concerned about the incident" than Downey. He also played the role of the Minotaur in Tarsem Singh's 2011 film, The Immortals. , a fierce and cruel warrior led by Hyperion (Mickey Rourke), whose face is barely seen throughout the film. He also worked with Henry Cavill, Freida Pinto and Luke Evans in this film. It was recently announced that he will join the cast of The Mortal Instruments, a film based on the novel by Cassandra Clare and starring Blackwell.
