Hello people!!! Happy Friday 🎉
Yesterday and today I was doing this fan art of "Wednesday Addams", to tell the truth I had a little laugh when I wanted to do it, because when this wave of fanaticism started I saw that many people did some drawing related to it and the truth I didn't feel like it, it didn't call my attention to do a drawing about it, but I saw the series a long time ago and I loved it. I figured that at some point I would feel like doing something artistic related to that series, a few days ago I saw this image and I couldn't resist to do it in my style, I share the process below.

Ayer y hoy estuve haciendo este fan art de "Wednesday Addams", a decir verdad me dio un poco de risa cuando quise hacerlo, porque cuando empezó esta ola de fanatismo vi que mucha gente hacía algún dibujo relacionado con ella y la verdad no me apetecía, no me llamaba la atención hacer un dibujo sobre ella, pero vi la serie hace mucho tiempo y me encantó. Supuse que en algún momento tendría ganas de hacer algo artístico relacionado con esa serie, hace unos días vi esta imagen y no pude resistirme a hacerla a mi estilo, les comparto el proceso a continuación.

I wanted to practice again the strokes as if it were a traditional painting, somewhat rustic and textured strokes. I started with her face, although at the beginning I was blurring a bit the areas to soften then I started to add some texture with a watercolor brush.
Quería volver a practicar los trazos como si fuera una pintura tradicional, trazos algo rústicos y con textura. Empecé por su cara, aunque al principio fui difuminando un poco las zonas para suavizar luego empecé a añadir algo de textura con un pincel de acuarela.

The part I liked the most was the hair, in fact I did it hair by hair with the same watercolor brush but I made it a little thinner, at the same time I was adding the lighting reflections placing the opacity of the brush a little lower so I didn't have to blur.
La parte que más me gustó fue el cabello, de hecho lo hice pelo a pelo con el mismo pincel de acuarela pero lo hice un poco más fino, a la vez iba añadiendo los reflejos de iluminación colocando la opacidad del pincel un poco más baja para no tener que difuminar.

The rest of the illustration was the same way, as our character loves the color black I only focused on the lights in some areas hehe. For the background I only made some brush strokes and placed a gradient. I hope you like this result.
El resto de la ilustración fue igual, como a nuestro personaje le encanta el color negro sólo me centré en las luces de algunas zonas jeje. Para el fondo solo hice algunas pinceladas y coloqué un degradado. Espero que les guste el resultado.

Your drawing turn out very good, if its digital still consider a drawing?? Im not familiar with the concept, I havent seen the movie but I did grew up watching the Addams, remember at first it was black and white, I even remember having a black and white tv, very vague memories but I still remember
For me it's still drawing 😃. Everything is done by hand only that digital has its benefits, the ctrl+Z for example, xd we can also call it illustration as you like 🖤 hehe, it's good to remember and the series I recommend it is something more modern, but it's good.
