REDEMPTION 1

Good day beautiful people. Redemption in my own understanding is being pulled out and delivered from a particular trauma or challenge one has been going through. This brings me to the story of young man of fifteen(15) years old still in the secondary school named Martins.

About six(6) years ago, he lost his mum as a result of a deadly disease she encountered. After much persuasion from the family, Martins Dad, Mr Esho got married to a young woman named Lizzy who promised to take good care of the man and his son.

A year passed after the death of Martins mum and oh the new wife started visiting Martins in room whenever his dad was fast asleep. You would want to ask what the visit was all about right? Yes, this new wife started molesting the young man sexually. Really? Yes, really.

This unspeakable act went on and on for more than four(4) years and this boy was sinking deep in emptiness. He could no longer concentrate in school and then started failing woefully and repeating classes. "How did I get here? How do I free myself from this bondage?" Martins thought to himself but Madam Lizzy already warned him never to tell his father, saying he would never believe him and then disown him if he ever told him. This frightened the poor boy and silenced him. What a mess!

Days passed, Weeks passed, Months passed and Years passed still in the pool of molestation and then one day, the story changed. A teacher missionary visited Martins school and he was invited to the school fellowship that day. He agreed to go and during the fellowship, this teacher spoke extensively about how Jesus can calm whatever storm one might be in.
