PROGRESSIVE UNITY
Hello beautiful people. The first thing to look at is progress and that means, the continuous improvement in an activity, an idea, an endeavor, or a goal or mission. Unity on the other hand is the collaborative effort of several people directed towards achieving a goal together at a particular time.
We are stronger together and we are not when divided, take ants for an example, an ant cannot do much by itself, but when a colony of ants are matching towards a goal, you will see that they can achieve whatever they desire. They can move a log of wood and gather resources for the rainy days and all of these activities are done in unity, they can tear apart animals bigger than them by taking a bite at a time, and in a few hours, they are done recovering food that will last them for a very long time.
I have always wondered how ants do the things they do. They are barely large enough to do anything with the support of other ants, and you cannot find just one ant wandering on its own unless it is lost, this has made me realize the power of unity and how progressive a group can be when they choose to achieve something together.
Can this lesson be transferred to humans? Can human beings learn from ants? Many things are happening in various parts of the world that make me realize that ants are the perfect example to follow, look at what is happening in Kenya, the entire country is turned around, the government was overrun with debts and instead of finding better ways to resolve the economic crises, the government decided to tax the citizens even more and the debts kept rising and at a point, the people came together in unity like ants and stood their ground to resist such draconian style of leadership and governance, many of them lost their lives to the protest but they didn’t relent and the more they were killed, the more they pushed back against bad governance.
Just when the world thought they would give up, they did even better by pushing back enough and winning the battle against bad governance.
Reflect on this critical journey and look at how we are stronger in unity, as friends, as associates, and more importantly as a family, look towards making powerful moves irrespective of individuality, and look at how much we can achieve if we make up our minds to do much more.
Today is a great day to remind you that you can achieve even more as a united force in our respective groups and places, do not be the one to extract yourself from the group when you know that your effort is needed and your contribution is capable of yielding fruits for the good of everyone.
I can assure you that together, you can do so much more than you expect and this is very important because as a single entity, you have only a limited reach, if you put in that effort to make things work, you will realize how much two people can achieve, then look at how much ten people can achieve, then look at how much a hundred people can achieve and extrapolate the difference.
