Splinterlands Halving Event " BARON'S BOUNTY"

Every 4 years, an event occurs in Bitcoin where the payout for bitcoin miners gets halved. In the first halving in 2012, this reward was reduced to 25 bitcoins per block. Then, in the second halving in 2016, it dropped to 12.5 bitcoins per block. The most recent halving occurred in May 2020, reducing the reward to 6.25 bitcoins per block. Because of this, in 2020, Splinterlands came up with an event that aligns with the Bitcoin halving. They released the first-ever card with a halving ability, which is Halfling Alchemist.

HALFLING ALCHEMIST

Halfling Alchemist is a epic natural element with a ranged attack. At level 1, it has a halving ability, and upon reaching level 4 it gains an additional ability called redemption.

For this third Bitcoin halving event, Splinterlands also released a second halving event called Baron's Bounty. They released 2 promo cards with halving abilities, namely Baron Fyatt and Henchling Enforcer.

HENCHLING ENFORCER

Henchling Enforcer is a rare dual-element (Water and Life) with a ranged attack. At level 1, it has a halving ability, and upon reaching level 4, it gains an additional ability called True Strike. The last ability it acquires is Camouflage when it reaches level 8.

Henchling Enforcer will cost 3,125 (3.125k) DEC/Credits for a single (1 BCX) card. You can use voucher to reduce the price. Per voucher will reduce 50 dec/credit with a max Voucher discount of roughly 50%.

BARON FYATT

Baron Fyatt is a legendary dual-element (fire and death) with a magic attack. At level 1, he has the Scattershot and halving ability, and upon reaching level 3, he gains an additional ability called Ambush. The last ability he acquires is Blind when he reaches level 4 or the maximum level.

Baron Fyatt will cost 31,250 (31.25k) DEC/Credits for a single (1 BCX) card. You can use voucher to reduce the price. Per voucher will reduce 50 dec/credit with a max Voucher discount of roughly 50%.

EVENTS DETAILS

The event will run for 15 days, and for every 25 cards purchased, one card is guaranteed to be in gold foil. If only one card is purchased, there's a 4% chance it will be in gold foil. Aside from obtaining the limited edition promo card, there's also a chance to win in the lucky draw, where you can win packs, runes, and plots. Additionally, if you make it to the leaderboard, there's a chance to receive an additional promo card and titles.

EXTRA PRIZE

LUCKY DRAW PRIZES

For every 1 DEC spent, you'll receive 1 point, and every 10k points give you a chance to win in the luck draw. There will also be a points multiplier during the activity. On the first day, there will be a 3x point multiplier, which will decrease each day until it becomes 1x on the last day of the event.

LEADERBOARD PRIZES

You can enter the leaderboard if you have one of the highest points during the event. For the primary prize on the leaderboard, the top 200 will receive titles. The top 1 to 10 will get "the Burninator," a legendary title, the top 11 to 60 will get "The Incinerator," an Epic title, and the Top 61 to 200 will get "The Scorcher," a rare title. Aside from the title, the top 20 will receive an additional promo card.
