Myself! Yes myself you heard me right, yes I know we're not quarrelling and sorry if I came out harsh but I'm prioritizing myself this coming year, every thing I do next year has to be about me. When I say I will prioritize myself it encompasses my health, my finances and also my growth in all aspects of life, the era of living to please others has ended. The way I fell sick this year because of negligence and lack it is not going to happen again, gone are the days when I take care of others and I'm down.

The days of me seeking validation from others iny life is over, the days of me putting others first and then it comes back against me are over. Please do not get me wrong, it is a good thing to help others but not at your own expense. That aside, I recently came back from the hospital because of dehydration (negligence) which at one point I thought I was going to die 🤣 (it sounds funny now but not then).

My mental health o. We know things are hard in this country infact in the world at large but I refuse to be depressed because of what is happening with the economy, my own opinion is murmuring and complaining will not change anything, so why not just live your life (but with sense). You see this year coming it's a new year new me 😊.
In all of this what I'm saying is this new year I'm going to take everything about my life and self growth serious and not mind what strangers may say. According to a meme I saw on the Internet " may stranger die ten times"

Many people might think this is selfishness, focusing on and prioritizing yourself, but I would say you made the right decision. You and yourself come first, and then the world and surroundings. If you are not healthy, if you are sick and mentally struggling, or if you are not financially stable, you cannot take care of others. Hi @onyinye-chi!

Jesus in his message indicated to us that in order to love others we must love ourselves. It means that you must take care of yourelf, take care of your own needs in order to be able to see others through yourelf and give them the same treatment. There is no parallel path because no one can give what they don't have. No one is going to value you if you don't do it first. Good for you!
