MY GLASSES, MY STOVE

(Edited)
My stove and my glasses, yes, if I'm asked today to get rid of two things or what two things I want to get rid of, I would pick my stove and my glasses, although it will cost me a lot, a whole lot because I literally need them for my day to day activities.

my stove:

When I gained admission into the university, I stayed in the hostel, and in my hostel, you are not allowed to cook, so I lived with that flow from my freshman year till I got to my finals, and I had to leave the hostel to my own apartment. On getting here there was already a hot plate and there was this steady light on weekdays, while the light only comes on at night on weekends so I didn't really see it as anything the stove was just there as a decoration although an old stove, not until last week the hot plate got spoilt it developed a fault, then I was forced to turn to my stove and now I wash the back of my pots because the stove is smoking badly almost every day which is tiring.
You might want to say I don't know how to set it up but guess what I do, it's just an old stove. If you ask me I would say I need to throw away that stove but it will now force me to return to my hostel days and trust me with the way the economy is I can't be buying food everyday. 🤧😭😩

My glasses:

I have been having issues with my eye from a very young age but didn't really care about it and life continued not until my third year in the university, that this issue came with constant headaches and my eyes were constantly teary ( the pain, the torment, the torture). Luckily for me,e I was able to get glasses,an no more constant headaches but I can't live freely the way I used to I can't just unconsciously touch my eyes or put my hand on my face, there was a day I almost bathed with my glasses on it's tiring but I have no choice because “ my glasses” is the remedy for my eye predicament.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. See you soon. 🤗

peace out ✌️

Stove!!! In this generation!? You should get it rid of it without much ado. The University authority must have had an ugly experience to have placed a ban on stove usage in hostels.

For the glasses, it seem your ruggedness helped you a lot and you must have probably overcome the sight problem.

If I put out the stove I would go hungry because I have not really come up with a plan on how to cook 😁

The pain on the eye could have been prevented at early stage if you had given it a medical check up early. Good to see you overcome those torment then. i know how the eye pain can be annoying

Very annoying, when I'm not pained tears will be dripping from my eyes, then the hotness and itching with constant headaches

It is a difficult situation, perhaps using an electric stove you can solve the situation, if your finances allow it. But without a doubt it is a very important item, I believe that I would not live without my kitchen either.

And I also agree with you, I couldn't live without my glasses, I wouldn't see anything, your publication has made me think about that.
