In 2022: He called Crypto a Criminal tool, In 2023: He gets indicted for accepting bribes in cash & gold bars worth over $580k (Karma is a B!tch)

What a wonderful and funny world, the same United States Senator Bob Menendez
that called for an investigation crypto ended up being charged and indicted by the United States Government for accepting bribes in cash and gold bars worth over half a million dollars. According to a news article I read Investigators found over $480,000 in cash, some stuffed in envelopes and hidden in clothing, as well as $70,000 in Nadine Menendez's safe deposit box. Also found in the home were over $100,000 worth of gold bars, "provided by either Hana or Daibes," according to the indictment.

It is obvious now that a lot of people who fight Bitcoin adoption are doing so because they do not understand it, like its transparency and traceability. El Salvador adopting Bitcoin as legal tender in 2021 is on the right path. Because Bitcoin always wins no matter the FUDs and attacks against it, Senator Bob Menendez who said “Bitcoin can open the doors of corruption in El Salvador," was just indicted for corruption by Federal Prosecutors who seized $100,000 in gold bars and $480,000 in hidden cash from his home, as I have already mentioned above. If pay close attention you will notice that his corruption was with “cash and gold”, not Bitcoin, yet he said that Bitcoin was going to open doors to corruption funny right, looks like karma caught up with him faster than Bitcoin's transaction speed.

I do not know about other people but I swear that there is some law of the universe that whatever a politician or anyone admonishes others over, they are almost definitely guilty of the same thing or something related to it. Bitcoin and Crypto are traceable and transparent, but yet it still get all the criticism of being used by scammers to hide their fraudulent transactions, especially from the same people who enjoy transactions in cash and gold bars because it is hard and more difficult to trace. When “they” say corruption, it means they are not getting there self-entitled under the table slice of the pie, Bitcoin is against corruption and illegality. Politicians are supposed to be "public servants" not the masters, the punishment for extreme corruption needs to be enforced, unfortunately, the people who write the laws won't punish themselves or their friends, sad reality but they are quick to point fingers at the crypto industry.
