Honestly, I am a big fan of Solana, in fact, I used to have my largest portion of my portfolio in Solana but due to their thousand and one downtimes that happen almost throughout the beginning of this year before they finally tackled the downtime issues problem, I had to move 50% of my Solana investments into another coin, until they get their issues figured out, just a few months after their downtime issues were fixed and Solana was not going offline on a regular which made it look like they now have a stable network and maybe have a chance at being the Ethereum killer once again then this happens, taking many people back to their distrust they already have for the Solana blockchain network.

Solana Has Lost Customer's Trust Again

Now so many people already think Solana was doomed before because of their network downtime issues, but based on tweets on Crypto Twitter today, so many of the people who lost faith in them recently started trusting the network again and were about to change their opinions on Solana, now here we are again, exploitation on their systems loophole has affected at least 7,767 digital wallets and have fallen victim to the on-going hack, with more increasing by the minute.

Solana went from having multiple network downtime issues which were barely tolerable to people's assets allegedly disappearing from their self-custodial Solana wallets Including Solana decentralized non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace Magic Eden and Phantom a friendly crypto wallet application built on Solana. Solana is losing investors' confidence by the minute and this isn't a good look for them, the supposed Ethereum altcoin rival or killer. Several Solana RPC(Remote Procedure Call) nodes are offline after reportedly being Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacked to slow down an ongoing exploitation hack that drained millions of dollars from thousands of users, a new report stated that Solana wallets are facing a possibility of over $5 million been stolen so far, this ain't good at all.
