Why Energy and AI Are More Than Just Interests to Me

After a long hiatus, I’ve found my way back to writing—and it feels refreshing! While I’m not entirely sure if I missed being here, one thing I’ve realized is that writing gives me immense joy, much more than talking ever could.

You might already know that I’ve recently started a YouTube channel. Although it’s something I should have done years ago, I’m glad I finally took the plunge. Creating videos is exciting, but the satisfaction I get from putting my thoughts into words is unmatched.

The last time I shared anything on this platform was in June 2022. Almost three years later, I clicked on the link to this blog and, without any planning, began typing away. A lot has happened since then. For a while, I worked in my family’s business in the textile industry. While it was a valuable experience, I eventually realized it wasn’t the right fit for me. Maybe it was the hectic environment of Merter, or perhaps the fast-paced nature of the private sector—it’s hard to say. What I do know is that I needed a change, and so I left.

Around the same time, I embarked on a new academic journey, pursuing a master’s degree in Energy and Sustainable Development at Kadir Has University. I even managed to write my thesis and present it once. However, the need for revisions dampened my enthusiasm, and ultimately, I decided to withdraw from the program.

For the past six months, I’ve shifted my focus toward personal projects. My siblings and I launched an online store earlier this year, and while it’s an exciting endeavor, I’ve learned that success in e-commerce demands significant investment, especially in advertising. This journey has taught me that visibility is everything.

Additionally, I’ve been exploring blockchain technology through a platform called Ecency. Though my posts there are sporadic, the concept of earning through engagement fascinates me. With consistent contributions, it’s possible to turn it into a steady income stream, and that’s something I aim to achieve.

Despite these shifts, my passion for the energy sector remains unwavering. For me, it’s not just an interest—it’s a calling. I stay closely connected to developments in energy markets, both in Turkey and globally, and every new insight feels like a spark of inspiration.

On top of that, I’ve become increasingly captivated by the possibilities of artificial intelligence. Tools like ChatGPT have revolutionized how I approach content creation, from brainstorming ideas to crafting compelling scripts for my YouTube channel. The speed at which AI is advancing is astonishing, and being part of this transformative era excites me deeply.
