That's quite interesting, but one of my Portuguese friends doesn't believe that. :)
Portugal is a part of Europe. Madeira is a part of Africa. The Azores (an archipelago consisting of 9 islands) is located at the boundaries between three continents, with 1 island in Europe, 2 islands in North America, 3 islands in Africa
