On the other hand I bring you the latest update on my daily card recommendation in Rising Star. These cards are the cheapest of the day, so as the name of this post says, I would recommend you to check it out if you are thinking about buying more cards today. By the way I leave you a curious fact, in recent days the price trend of the cards has been downward, except for the cards used in the drum lessons that have risen a little more than the other lessons. But well, I will show you all that later, knowing that we start.

Friends today's news are interesting and even a little special, especially because they are related to a band that I follow for years, and they are quite a few let me tell you haha. The first thing I want to mention before telling you who it is about is an observation I have made. In music I have seen that almost always the cycles repeat themselves, and the bands that most of us used to listen to years ago are now being reunited. There are many examples of this, in the last few months I have seen all kinds of bands getting back together. But there is one case that for me personally as a fan is more special.

I'm referring to The Killers. If by any chance you have been living under a rock 😀 the last few years and you don't know them I'll tell you a little bit about them. Well this group or band as they prefer to call it, started making music in 2001. Back then I was pretty little so I grew up listening to some of their work. They mainly do pop rock, but also many other genres that I will mention later. Well the thing is that this band broke up in 2017, (if I remember correctly). The band kept making music, but with other members. This was hard for everyone, even for the fans and I count myself there.

At this point you must be wondering where is the news? Haha😀, don't despair, I'll tell you right now. The news is that the 4 members that started the band and as I was telling you had separated, have reunited again and a few days ago they released a new song. You can imagine how all the fans must be feeling. By the way the song is called. “Bright Lights.” Before I continue with the news I want to make a stop here to clarify one thing that is important and at the same time I would say a bit interesting.

You should know that these 4 members of The Killers had not completely separated from the band, that is to say left the band. So to speak what they did was a pause, that is a long pause haha. But it was to be able to do their personal projects. I really understand this and I wouldn't argue or miss it, sometimes we forget that these people have a life. But well now the break is over and we have them all back.

I didn't tell you that the song is not only in MP3, since about 5 days ago they uploaded the song with official video to youtube, I mention it in case you want to see it too. I already watched the video and I'm going to tell you some things I liked, I'll try not to make too many spoilers, but I can't promise I won't miss one haha😅.

The first thing I want to highlight in this video is the stage curtain, you know the one that rises in theaters. Well that curtain has a very peculiar shape, with a diamond shape. This is because it is a nod to the famous Las Vegas welcome sign, which by the way is the birthplace of the founders of the band. Another thing I liked were the guitars, there is one in particular in yellow that blew my mind with its shape. I don't have to say that all of them are modified haha😀. And as a final point of the video I highlight the classic rock theme, in fact when you watch the video you will remember a bit of that music that was made in the 70s.

As I promised at the beginning I told you that I was going to mention some of the most famous genres for which the band has excelled. The first and most important is obviously rock, of course. From here on there would be variants, such as poprock, alternative rock, heartland rock and synth-pop. But of course there are many more, you surely know that categorizing a band is difficult, especially one like this one that has been making music for so many years.

Well the thing is that they are going to do a lot of concerts to commemorate these dates, especially in their hometown, Las Vegas as I said before.
