A strong determination that yield to positive changes
Mikhail Nilov
Clara was a girl who loved to draw and paint. Generally, she loves to take her time painting. She has had a passion for it since the day her art teacher taught them how to mix color in class. Her parents want something different from her passion. They wanted her to be a doctor because she's a caring child.
Everyone in her school admires her a lot, even her friends and her teacher, just because of her caring habits. She spends most of her time painting without paying full attention in class or to anything her teacher teaches her.
Most of her subject teachers got tired of her behavior, sometimes seized her color paint material, and sometimes reported her to her parents.
The more she is punished or sparked by her teacher, the more commitment she puts into her painting work. Her parents and her teacher decided to let her be.
Funny enough, her commitment to her career is affecting her academic life. She got to the point where she was asked to repeat a class, which led her to be in the class with her younger brother.
When it turned out to this extent that she was in a class with her younger brother, Her parents and teacher began to praise her brother more than her. She felt disappointed.
All of a sudden, Clara decided to resolve to plan her time well by creating time to study hard and also creating time to practice her painting. This works out well for her, even though her parents and her teacher could not believe that she would change.
One day, Clara decided to enter an art competition at her school. At first, her parents didn't buy the idea of her joining the competition because she was just starting her academic life. The competition seems to be an elegant one; apart from the prize awarded to the winner, there’s also sponsorship for academics from secondary level to tertiary level and the provision of a job too. Looking at the benefits of the reward, her class teacher and the management of the school had to take a step to encourage her parents to support her in partaking in the competition. As far as she knows, she has a grade that can make her partake in the competition
However, Clara had to make a promise to her parents that she wouldn't let her preparation for the competition affect her academic life.
Clara finally registered for the competition, and her fine art teacher also helped her practice more designs.
Clara worked tirelessly on her painting, pouring her heart and soul into every brushstroke. She was determined to win the competition and make her parents proud. However, as the deadline approached, Clara realized that she had made a mistake. She had accidentally spilled water on her painting, causing the colors to run and blend.
Feeling devastated, Clara didn't know what to do. She thought about giving up and not submitting her painting at all. But then she remembered something her art teacher had once told her: “Mistakes are just opportunities for growth and learning.”
With renewed determination, Clara decided to find a way to fix her painting. She researched different techniques and experimented with various methods to restore the colors. After many failed attempts, Clara finally discovered a solution that worked.
She carefully applied the new technique to her painting, and slowly but surely, the colors began to regain their vibrancy. She was overjoyed with the result. Not only that, but she had turned her mistake into a masterpiece.
On the day of the art competition, Clara proudly displayed her painting alongside the other entries. The judges were amazed by her artwork and praised her for her creativity and resilience. Clara ended up winning first place in the competition, and her parents couldn't have been prouder. Apart from the rewards, some spectators and observers who came from reputable companies were left with no choice other than to reward her handsomely. The countless gifts and some other rewards surpassed the usual rewards. Cash and material rewards also come from an art and design company.
Her parents, who were not supporting her painting, were delighted with her results.
“Clara, I will henceforth support your goal of painting undoubtedly," her dad said.
“I will support you, but you still have to make it up to become a medical doctor," her mom added.
“No way; she has been given a scholarship to study abroad whenever she is done with her secondary school. This means she has to stick to her art and do perfectly well," her delighted dad said.
“But…" Her mom wanted to reply before her dad replied, “No way. Just listen to me, OK?”
“I will support her in any way, at least on any side; there is a means of surviving.” Her mom replied.
When the mistake became the winning opportunity...🎉
For sure, she should be allowed to get along her artwork. It's good to study what you have passion on
Clara's vocation becomes clear to her parents when she wins the contest. Her future becomes very promising.

Hopefully Clara reaches her full potential, and has a happy life :) Obviously she was never interested in being a doctor.
