Free-Anime Review(ENG/SPA)

"I could stare at them for hours", I said while watching shirtless boys swim. It was sometime last year I wanted to watch this anime. Started it but didn't get past episode one cause I wasn't feeling it. Fast forward to now,a different year, different time and I'm completely hooked.

Free is a sport anime written by Koji Oji. And adapted by the studio, Kyoto. It revolves around the lives of four high schoolers, Nanisa, Matomoto and Nagisa. Actually the main character of this anime is Nanisan but you don't see him talk or act alot, rather you see other describing him,explaining him and how he feels.

Makoto,Nagisa and Haruka are childhood friends. They've been swimming together for a really long time,gone to swimming tournaments and won medals and trophies. It wasn't just these three though. They had another friend,Rin.
Haruka and Rin were extremely close friends till he started feeling inferior to Haruka. This drew them apart and created a kind of negative/false energy between the four team mates. Matsouka eventually moves out of the country to Australia to become better in swimming and to win against Haru.

It's a good show guys. In a way Nanisan and Matomoto had a resemblance with the couples in the bl anime Daraketai Otoko(amazing anime by the way). Free is a short beautiful anime. I love the way it emphasizes on the concept of being free and not head driven by desires,envy, pressure or outright jealousy. No sugarcoating,Rin was jealous of Haruka. Stopping a friendship cause you've lost to him and some reasons you can't feel better until he's lost to you? What's the whole concept of being friends then? Why the competition?

One thing I avoid when it comes to friendship is anything that'll make us be in a competition or fight for the same thing. I do not wish to be against someone I call my friend so when it usually gets to this,I take a huge step back and pull my border up.

Free is a sport anime about swimming. Man was made for land though,why do people enjoy swimming? I guess it's a different feeling when you're under the water. I can't really swim apart from do a few flaps and drown but it's a soothing feeling when you're under the water. I feel swimming competitions aren't really popular and need more light shone on them(it). It's such an incredible sport,I can't get enough of the bodies.ugh. Very refreshing, funny and exciting 12 episodes. You can binge watch it like I did and spend like three hours to complete it. Amazing to be honest,I have no idea why I couldn't watch it last year. Oh well, it's like that sometimes.

"Podría quedarme mirándolos durante horas", dije mientras veía a unos chicos sin camiseta nadar. Fue en algún momento del año pasado cuando quise ver este anime. Empecé a verlo, pero no pasé del primer episodio porque no me apetecía. Avanzamos hasta ahora, un año diferente, un momento diferente y estoy completamente enganchado.

Free es un anime deportivo escrito por Koji Oji y adaptado por el estudio Kyoto. Gira en torno a las vidas de cuatro estudiantes de secundaria, Nanisa, Matomoto y Nagisa. En realidad, el personaje principal de este anime es Nanisan, pero no lo ves hablar ni actuar mucho, en lugar de eso, ves a otros describiéndolo, explicándole cómo se siente.

Makoto, Nagisa y Haruka son amigos de la infancia. Llevan mucho tiempo nadando juntos, han ido a torneos de natación y han ganado medallas y trofeos. Pero no eran solo ellos tres. Tenían otro amigo, Rin.
Haruka y Rin eran amigos muy cercanos hasta que él empezó a sentirse inferior a Haruka. Esto los separó y creó una especie de energía negativa/falsa entre los cuatro compañeros de equipo. Finalmente, Matsouka se muda del país a Australia para mejorar en natación y ganarle a Haru.

Es un buen programa, chicos. En cierto modo, Nanisan y Matomoto tenían un parecido con las parejas del anime bl Daraketai Otoko (anime increíble por cierto). Free es un anime corto y hermoso. Me encanta la forma en que enfatiza el concepto de ser libre y no dejarse llevar por los deseos, la envidia, la presión o los celos directos. Sin edulcorarlo, Rin estaba celoso de Haruka. ¿Terminar una amistad porque has perdido a tu pareja y algunas razones por las que no puedes sentirte mejor hasta que él te pierde? ¿Cuál es el concepto de ser amigos entonces? ¿Por qué la competencia?

Una cosa que evito cuando se trata de amistad es cualquier cosa que nos haga competir o luchar por lo mismo. No quiero estar en contra de alguien a quien llamo mi amigo, así que cuando llega ese momento, doy un gran paso atrás y elevo mis límites.

Free es un anime deportivo sobre natación. Sin embargo, el hombre fue creado para la tierra, ¿por qué a la gente le gusta nadar? Supongo que es una sensación diferente cuando estás bajo el agua. Realmente no puedo nadar, salvo dar unos cuantos aleteos y ahogarme, pero es una sensación relajante cuando estás bajo el agua. Siento que las competencias de natación no son muy populares y necesitan que se les dé más luz (eso). Es un deporte increíble, no me canso de ver los cuerpos. Uf. Doce episodios muy refrescantes, divertidos y emocionantes. Puedes verlo de corrido como yo y pasar como tres horas para terminarlo. Increíble para ser honesto, no tengo idea de por qué no pude verlo el año pasado. Bueno, a veces es así.
