Greetings to you brethren in the name of Almighty God, my name is Oluwatobiloba. Welcome to the 6th day of the mass indoctrination program, where we study the pure word of Christ taught to us by brother Eli through zoom.
Today is the 25th day of April 2022 and here are some of the lessons I learned from the teachings.

I learned the importance of confessing our sins, everyone who covers his or her sin shall not prosper according to the word of God, but he that confesses his sin and forsakes the sin shall obtain Mercy.

God has not kept any record of wrong with us and we should do the same with our fellow men.

There are two types of sin. There is a sin unto death and there is another type of sin that is not unto death. A sin unto death is intentionally done against the holy spirit and such sin cannot be forgiven.

The other type of sin which is a sin not unto death can be forgiven and when a brethren like this, sins unto death. The church in this situation should pray for a brethren like this.

The prayer of the wicked is an abomination to the lord, but if they turn from their wicked ways, he is just merciful to forgive. If the people called by the name of the Lord, shall humble themselves and seek the face of God. God will hear from heaven, forgive their wrongs and heal the land.

God listens to us when we pray, we should however let go of past sins and hurt in order to have our prayers answered.
When we sin against a brethren, we should ask for forgiveness so that we would be forgiven and our prayers would be answered.
If the people called by the name of the Lord will turn from their wicked ways and turn to God, our sins would be forgiven.
In everything we do, we need to follow after the place of love since lovers cover a lot of sin. God understands our plight and problems and the consistent and fervent prayer of the righteous can change situations.
The kingdom of God should be our main priority, and that is what we need to seek first.
Contentment is a great gain, we have to be content with what we have even while we try to strive for growth. We should not allow the love for money to occupy our hearts and prompt us to do evil in a bid to get it
1 cor3:16. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you.
1 cor1:10. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
We were admonished to be disciplined, whenever we go into the house of prayer.
Prov17:1. Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith than a house full of sacrifices with strife.
James1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Todays teaching has affected me by helping me to learn the importance of praying with a clean heart, forgiving others when they wrong me, and then having faith when I pray.

Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.

MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.

II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
