Mixing business with love.

Mixing business with love is not a good thing to do. It's best to keep business and love separate, no matter what. Let business be business and love be love; it's not necessary to do both at the same time. I think it's important to establish clear rules and expectations. For example, if you're working with a family member, it's important to set boundaries by telling them how much time you'll spend working with them. One have to take their job serious because only then can they count their profit.

Let me share a personal example. A few months ago, I was working with a friend on a group assignment given to us. However, when they gave us the assignment, we were doing it together, but things became more complicated. We began to disagree on several things; she was saying we must use her idea, and I was saying we must use my idea, and our relationship suffered because of it. In the end, we decided to end our friendship after some time, but it took a toll on me because I missed her. The reason why this happened to us is that we mixed our business with love, which was a mistake. I knew I should have kept our personal and professional relationships separate from the start if I knew it would affect our friendship.

It's also important to be aware of the consequences of mixing business with love. If we are working with our loved ones, we won't think straight because we will let our emotions overpower our business logic.

If we are working with our loved ones, we will be thinking about what is best for them and not for the company. We know mixing business with love is somehow risky, if your loved ones are working with you and they make a mistake, you won't want to scold them all because you guys are family, which it's not supposed to be. You might do it but not as you would your other employee.

I read a story of a man who owns his own company and was dating a girl in his company. The people working in that company didn't know that their boss was dating a colleague of theirs, but they noticed that if the girl made a mistake, the man barely scolded her. The reason why is that he was mixing business with love. In my experience, it's best to keep business and love separate whenever possible. There are times when the two must mix.
Another thing is that there will be imbalances when mixing business with love.

Another example is that if you're working with a family member who is in a high position of authority, there must be a possibility that the person will abuse their power. If two family members are working in the same place and one has the authority to do anything, believe me, if the second family member is doing something bad, the one in the higher position won't say anything at all because he's a family and they have already mixed business with love.
When it comes to mixing business with love, it's also important to consider the implications of your decision. For example, if we are starting a business with a loved one, it's important to set certain boundaries so that there will not be a mixing of business and love together.

Another fact about mixing business with love is that it keeps our personal and professional lives separate. That means having different bank accounts, etc.
Just because you guys are family doesn't mean you must have one account together. Also, we must not discuss our personal matters during business time. Another example is that if you are starting a business with someone you love, there's a chance that your personal relationships could affect your business decisions. To avoid this, it's important to set down some rules, and the rules must be followed. So mixing business with love is very bad and dangerous.

It is wrong to discuss personal matters when it comes to business because no one would know when emotions get in and before you know it, you are putting the business at risks. It is important to set certain boundaries in business when it comes to attaching relationships to it in order not to experience set back in the end. Nice article.

Yes, you are right, it's wrong to discuss personal matters when it comes to business. If we put business with love together it surely risks the business no matter what. And also it's important to set boundaries while we are doing business with our loved ones.

My dear, forget about drawing rules
I have experienced something like this before and with or without rules nothing will make me even set a business with my loved one
If he’s investing with a certain percentage interest then that’s fine and I’ll make sure he/she won’t be in charge especially if it was my idea.

Exactly, working together with loved ones means trouble because if he/ she makes a mistake you won't want to scold or insult them. Also putting a loved one in charge of a business it's risky because if they make a mistake you won't want to say something that will lead to misunderstanding between you people.

Truly, when you're working with loved ones, you may be willing to overlook something that you shouldn't overlook and that could be detrimental. That's why business and love is not a good combination.
