Greetings and welcome to my blog, Hive Open Mic Community Friends. We would like to respectfully thank @ashiru for the theme tag "Always grateful" in week 217 of the hive open mic. With this theme given to us, I came up with an original song to present to us, “I’m grateful.”.

Before I finally decided to sing, I was wondering if I should sing original or just sing any other artist's song. I now ask myself a question. Is it that I am unable to express my gratitude and thanksgiving to God through song? I have to go work on it. Even though I'm not very good at composing song, I was compelled to perform this song since it's only my humble beginning, and the songs talks about we being constantly thankful to God for everything, not only in good times but also in terrible ones. Many people tend to express gratitude only when things are going well for them.

However, always being grateful implies to being thankful regardless of whether you eat or not. Be thankful regardless of whether you are accepted or rejected. Stay thankful even when you're ill. Continue to be thankful, and the Almighty God will never leave you. That’s a promise from God.
