MCGI CARES WORSHIP SERVICE (LIVE ZOOM MEETING) HELD ON 30th DECEMBER 2022
MEETING TIME: 9:00PM

Good day my brethren in Christ, you're welcome to my blog. My name is Olu Thomas, it is a previlledge to attend MCGI WORSHIP SERVICE HELD ON 30TH DECEMBER, 2022.Time: 9:00pm.

I am here to share what I learnt from the Live worship service meeting held on 30th December, 2022. Time: 9:00pm

LESSONS

We learned about Submission. Submission is an act of yielding or the act of accepting what the will of an authority. As believer we need to be submissive to our superior, because that's the will of God, without submission the body of Christ will be divided. So we are commanded to obey our leaders, we should submit to their authority because they always keep watch over us.

I learned that as a follower who is submitting to an authority, you should always be mindful of your tongue, not every discussion about an authority you engage in it. Be mindful of gatherings that always speaks evil of their leaders. That's rebellions. for us to be able to submit in totality, we need to avoid unnecessary argument about our leaders and if we will do so there's benefit attached to submission.

Some of the benefit of submission:

1. You will leave in peace with your superior
2. You will be a partaker of your leader blessings
3. People will also submit to you genuinely as long as you keep submitting to your superior
4. Things will move smoothlybetween you and your leader

So obedience is very important in the body of Christ,Jesus came and He did not leave according to His will, but he lives according to the will of His Father, so Jesus came to show us how a superior and his followers should leave here on earth.

God wants us to submit completely without second thought, we don't obey our leaders only when it is to our favour, but even If it's not to our benefit, we need to submit. The disciples of Jesus Christ left all their work and submit to Jesus authority and we see what they benefit at the end, when their master left them. He told them as far as they will believe in Him and submit to His authority, they will do more than what he did. And it happens that way.

And again i learned that as a child of God, we need to help those who are in need both close and far, we should always be ready to render help and to do good if there's need for that, if we wants the world to be a better place, then we should be ready to support each others. We should not send anyone away knowing fully that we can help him or tell him to come back another time, it might be too late. So we should be open to help in times of need if we are in the position to do so. May God blessed us all in Jesus name. Amen
