Good day beloved MCGI Cares Community and Hive at large, you are welcome to my blog. My name is Olu Thomas. I will be sharing with us what I understand about day 11 Mass Indoctrination. Thank you and remain blessed.

Lesson learned

Some people keep doing what is wrong again and again, proverbs say a dog that returns to its vomit. We can’t continue doing what is wrong and think we are on the errand of grace, we should not take the grace of God for granted, and we should not go back to our evil ways, because the more we return to our vomit, it shows that we don’t understand or come to the full knowledge of Jesus death and resurrection. You cannot eat from the table of the Lord and still partake from the table of the devils, light and darkness cannot dwell together, is either you are cold or hot, is either you shine light or darkness, there is no way that you will say you are for both, God knows the heart of all men and he knows those that are His, you can’t claim to be his today and tomorrow you are another thing different from the will of God, that means you allow the devil to toy with your inner man. Let us repent genuinely and forsake our wrongs, we should not return to our evil deeds and we will surely have our resting place in heaven and people here on earth will love to imitate us as we imitate Christ.

I also learned about giving, when giving is not compulsory for you to give or it should be as forceful or do or die affairs, no, you give according to how God blessed you, you give according to how you are led, many denominations today force the members to give a specific amount of money is not from the member’s heart, they gave because they were asked to do so, and some do ask the members to write their names, in other for them to confirm what each and every member is giving, which is not what the Lord taught us, some are even giving the award to the best person who gives more in the church and others that don’t have will feel less important.
Giving should be on the basis of the agreement between the person, his mind, and God, apart from the person and God no one is expected to know what we give for the propagation of His gospel, some give so that people can see them and they should celebrate or appreciated by the pastor and elders of the Church, what shall it profit a man when men celebrate you and God rejects you, it has not gained, all our giving is to glorify God, nothing less, nothing more, once we found ourselves doing otherwise is selves that we want to impress.

we need to give thanks to God in all circumstances, we need to thank him for good health, shelter, free air to breathe, and for the ability to eat and defecate safely, if we go around the world today there are many people going through different sickness and affliction that you will just appreciate God for the state of your life, you will say you don’t have money but you are healthy, health is more than riches because we have many rich people that are not enjoying their riches because one illness or the other. At all times we should give God thanks, even in times of trouble, times of hardship let’s give him thanks, the story of Lazarus in the bible tells us that Lazarus was dead for some days, and when Jesus, His words to God was {Thank you for hearing whenever I called upon you} he started by thanking God in that critical moment, Jesus still founds it fit to thank the Lord and God hears him. God listens to anyone who is grateful to Him and always appreciates Him for he will do more and more wonders for such a person. Glory to Jesus.

We also learned about vows, as a believer is better not to vow if you know you can’t keep to it, many Christians today vow but at the end of the day they won’t fulfill the vow, the vow is not a crime, but hope you will fulfill it, there is a saying that says promise and fails is a sin if you know you can keep to your word then vow is very good, because it will keep you on track, if you place a vow it will be as a reminder to you, many people vow not to do something and if they try it God should punish them and most people were able to keep such vow because they are afraid of God punishment. In some cases, the vow is very important, but a vow without fulfillment is not good, it is better not to vow.
