I'd like to greet everyone, and I welcome you to another new HMF week, 113 Round 2. Being a part of this community always makes me feel so humbled. My name is Oluthomas.

I'll be singing and playing the keyboard in this week's 113 Round 2 submission. The One Who Answers Prayers is a song sung by Prophet Joel Ogebe, a well-known gospel preacher in Nigeria, a prophet, and a teacher of God's word.

In Nigeria, this very song has become so popular that it is sung in a variety of ways by most denominations and still has a strong following.

MY PRESENTATION FOR WEEK 113

This song discusses God and what and who He is. He is a God who does, in fact, hear prayers. I fell in love with the music the first time I heard it. This song is mostly sung during prayer. You start singing the song to express yourself as you are about to conclude your prayers with a heart full of thanks.

And I thought of it this way: Whether you refer to him (GOD) as the one who answers prayers or not, God will always be God. He always has what will set him apart since he is God and doesn't need our approval to be God.

Although God does not answer every request, there are times when He permits His will to be carried out; He knows about all that occurs in the world, or He permits the devil to tempt or try us in order to exalt His name. This does not imply that God is finite; in the Bible, there are numerous examples where people believe that God abandoned them before they realized it, but God fully restored them. The Bible's Job story is a great illustration of a God who hears prayers; David is another excellent example, and Abraham is another example of a God who does the same. Therefore, we ought to keep everything from God. I adore Job because, under no circumstances, the devil can't use the things of this world to frighten him; he lives above the system of this world, and that should be what our heart desires.
