RE: The Stupidity of Hivewatchers

Having decentralization is awesome and great, as it gives people complete ownership of their own accounts. This, however, can be abused. The stand that Hive Watchers take is very understandable and crucial, and we do appreciate it, but let's table this burning matter carefully:

We are now becoming hybrids. Or better still, we are becoming cyborgs. We now have technology deep in our skin. We just cannot do without them anymore, especially with the way the world is now.

We have a new ability as humans, and this ability is to help us become better versions of ourselves. We evolve with every introduction of a new ability, and likewise the world. This new ability is to perform on a deeper level with the use of a new tool that we created called artificial intelligence.

I could very well sit down with a pen and paper and start solving for the area of a circle BY HAND, and that would take me a considerably long time to do that. But with a calculator with me, I could do that quickly. What about if I just asked some AI to do that for me? The whole tedious process would be even faster, and I would likely even have a more accurate result.

And now, in the creation of content, we have something to augment our abilities to perform even better. Brainstorming just got much better, more efficient, and more effective, directly improving content creation. This is just an example of how we use AI now to make our lives easier. Heck, even Hive Watchers use AI to catch AI-generated content. So what are we talking about?

However, with great power comes a great tendency to abuse that power, which boils down to the need for "regulation." And this is Hive Watcher's stand, I believe: to provide a reasonable balance. And that's why we appreciate them.

This is a new thing in town, although it really isn't, and everyone's just getting to imbibe them, checking out how they could be better so that they could indeed be better. Of course, there are people who will want to abuse that, and indeed they will, and that needs to be checked. However, would it not be doing more harm than good if we were to scare people away from exploring this new phase of evolution that's imminent -- and even from the space we call home, Hive -- and thereby put them in a conundrum wondering, "Should I evolve or should I remain primitive?"

There is no exact solution yet on how to tackle this. There is no exact way to deal with this matter in terms of how to precisely curb the true offenders (that is, those that want to abuse the system by being lazy and cheating others) and protect those that are truly looking to improve and make the world a better place.

Like you always do, Mr. D., you make rules, but you understand that things won't be perfect at first, so you are lenient for a while, pending the time the rule is cemented in your amazing city. I believe a similar compromise could be made on Hive regarding this burning issue.

Thank you so much for the opportunity, Mr. D.

Phew!

PS: I made 40 error while I was just ranting, but to make sure that I am well understood, quillbot (another AI) pointed them out and I made adjustment.
