This week wasn't as amazing as I would have hoped it to be—and that's fine—but today was just the height of it all. And, knowing the detriments of bottling things up, I considered reaching out to a few of my friends. Guess what? Well, that was the best decision; speaking up, I mean.

The reason I had a bad great day is not our center of focus here and now, however. Instead, the value, importance, and necessity of having friends will be our pivotal points.

I do not have that many people that I would truly call "friends." Maybe I do know a lot of people, and a decent amount of people know me, depending on who you ask, but the idea and truth are that my circle of friends is quite small. Well, the definition of "small" is subjective. My small group may be like fifteen or twenty people, you know, but we get the idea, don't we? _{Yes, we do....now move on.}

Over the years, however, my circle of friends has taken on different shapes and sizes. That is, I have had addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division performed on it. You know what I mean. But currently, it consists of people that I would say are truly amazing in their own way.

For one, I have an association of friends that I am a part of, registered by the FBI, the Federal Bureau of Interrelationships. We call it...drum rolls...The Gentle-Bros. Yeah, it's pretty cool, innit. _{Let's move along...}

Why and what does this "association" exist for?

Fundamentally, we started out as individual friends with one another, and as fate would have it, we happened to live in the same residence for a long time. And that's how the magic started.

Now, fast forward to not so many years later, and we realized that we had actually grown so much together and have now become brothers in many ways. And since we were graduating, we thought we should have this association to keep us together. In many conversations after, we took things a step further.

We are accountability buddies and more. Yeah, you read that right. As we are now, we'd like to work things out for ourselves, navigate life efficiently, and attain goals and achievements, as we inherently desire to be successful. But then, we thought that we could make it easier and more wholesome for ourselves if we carried one another along and helped ourselves grow. And so, the Gentle-Bros was born.

We stick with one another like gum on a shoe, and in one way or another, we try to come through for ourselves. We have our laughs and disagreements—as they are normal—and they sure as hell are guys that I can count on for many other things.

Another friend of mine, of whom you probably know, and our relationship, is one that I would call a brother. There is a full article here for them if you'd like to know how deep it is.

We have done a lot together, and we will continue to do so in the future. Because of our friendship brotherhood, I have grown in certain areas, and the same applies to them as well. You know what they say: "Iron sharpens iron."

Should I continue to brag about my friends, we might as well turn this into a textbook. But we both know your patience for this to end is running dry already. I'd spare both of us the time and say just a few more words.

Basically, there are a couple of people I cherish. There is so much potential for success in them. They are all doing well in their respective endeavors, even though they'd disagree, but I know what I see and foresee. Time will tell and reveal it all as it passes.

In the low times, like today, they are the ones I'd fall to, and in the great times, they are the ones I would celebrate with. They have had my in the past, and so have I, and we will continue to stick with one another.
