PERVERTED GENERATION
Abnormalities is the order of the day.
Waywardness a normality, and
Shenanigans the way of life.
Where are our elders ??, the ones
Who brought us up in respect.
Have we forgotten all that we
Have, been taught. Fast living
Beckoning to all.
Lazing around doing nothing,
Wishing wealth comes our way.
Fraud and Pilfering, have now become
Our youths job. The carefree lifestyle,
They choose. Drowning away in,
Peversion. No one wants to work,
For what they want, All want to reap
What they didn't sow. Perverted is this
Generation.
Where the young ladies, lose their,
Morals for money and classy living,
Where the young guys, lose their
Values to make money and highbrow
Living. Where everyone wants to
Be wealthy at the cost of their,
Fellow human beings lives.
Sadly this is what the world is turning to.
Our elders can do nothing, for they've
Tried to right the wrongs, amidst the
Youths but all to no avail. They can only,
Their own. In hope he fall doesn't fall prey,
To Monster chirping away, the future of this
Generation. Peversion it is.
Throughout time, it seems to always feel that the younger generations are departing from the wisdom of their elders. I suppose many are, some for the good, and others for the worst. Your poem was interesting, thanks for the read 😁
