I'M HERE TO SHARE THE IMPORTANT POINTS I LEARNED FROM TODAY'S THANKSGIVING SERVICE, THE TOPIC WAS ON RECONCILIATION ,

HERE ARE THE IMPORTANT POINTS I LEARNED FROM THE THANKSGIVING SERVICE

​

• With the Help of God, Though Today's Thanksgiving service, I understood the Importance of RECONCILIATION

​

• RECONCILIATION is the reestablishment or restoration of friendly relations or it is the process of two people or groups in a conflict, agreeing to make amends or come to live in Peace with one another

​

• I Learnt that, we should Forgive others of their wrong doings and mistakes if we also want to be forgiven by our Father in Heaven

If you are not going to forgive others, how would Christ Forgive you.

​

• Matthew 6:12 says, And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

​

• Matthew 6:15 says, But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

​

• I Learnt that we should sing with Joy in our Hearts to the Lord Most High

​

• I Learnt that we should not look at the person that offends us, but rather we should look at Christ Jesus, The Author and Finisher of our Faith.

​

• I Learnt that, We should set our gaze upon Christ

​

MY BELIEFS THAT HAVE BEEN IMPROVED THROUGH LISTENING TO TODAY'S THANKSGIVING SERVICE

​

1. I LEARNT THAT UNITY IS VERY ESSENTIAL AND IMPORTANT IN THE BODY OF CHRIST

​

1. I LEARNT THAT WHEN UNITY OR RECONCILIATION IS LOST, PEACE WOULD ALSO BE LOST.

​

1. I LEARNT THAT WE SHOULD LEARN TO FORBEAR ONE ANOTHER AND FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER AS CHRIST FORGIVES US

​

1. I LEARNT THAT THERE IS NO GREATER THING, THAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS TO DWELL IN UNITY

According to the book of Psalm 133:1

Psalms 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

​

HOW TODAY'S THANKSGIVING SERVICE AFFECTED ME AND MADE ME A BETTER PERSON THAT I CAN EMULATE IN MY DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES

​

1. I LEARNT THAT I SHOULD NOT BE IN AGREEMENT WITH DARKNESS OR WHAT IS EVIL

​

1. I LEARNT THAT IF AS CHRISTIANS WE ARE NOT IN UNITY, IT IS GOING TO BE HARD TO KEEP THE DOCTRINE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST

​

1. I LEARNT THAT LACK OF UNITY IN THE CHURCH WHICH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST LEADS TO DIVISION AND DISAGREEMENT AMONGST BRETHRENS

​

1. I LEARNT THAT DWELLING OR LIVING IN UNITY AMONGST BRETHRENS is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments

​

1. I LEARNT THAT IN EVERYTHING, WE SHOULD GIVE THANKS ALWAYS AS THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD

​
