THE PURE DOCTRINES OF CHRIST

HELLO BRETHREN, MY NAME IS OLUBUNMI, WELCOME TO THE 9TH DAY OF THE STUDY OF THE DOCTRINES OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. WE ARE STUDYING THE PURE DOCTRINES OF CHRIST.
TODAY IS THE 28TH OF APRIL 2022.
THANKS FOR BE TO GOD FOR THE WONDERFULLY OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN THE DOCTRINES OF CHRIST, THROUGH TODAY'S MASS INDOCTRINATION TEACHING CONDUCTED VIA ZOOM,
I WAS REALLY BLESSED LISTENING TO THE TEACHINGS OF BROTHER ELI.
I'M HERE TO SHARE THE IMPORTANT POINTS I LEARNED FROM TODAY'S TEACHINGS.
TODAY'S TOPIC WAS ON SINGING AS A DOCTRINE OF CHRIST.

HERE ARE THE IMPORTANT POINTS I LEARNT THROUGH TODAY'S TEACHING;

• I Learned that, Singing a song is one of the most joyful activity in life.

•Singing brings joy to the heart.
When the world was being created, The angels were singing.

• There's a Biblical proof that the Angels were singing when the world was being created, not only do the Angels sing- Even the twenty four elders all of them sing to God to worship him.

•In the book of Job 38:4-7
Job 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. 38:5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? 38:6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy
The Bible says when the Morning stars sang together.

• The Morning stars that are singing are Angels.

• I Learned about, the mystery of the seven stars , and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

• I Also Learnt that there is a Joyous feeling brought about by the gathering of believers In Christ Jesus.

• When brethrens In Christ come together their joy is full

• I LEARNT THAT PERFECT JOY CAN BE FELT WHEN YOU ARE WITH A BRETHREN PERSONALLY- it's just like former classmates having a reunion or a get together.

• I Learnt that, our maintenance as Christians is to be exhorted upon and brotherly love
Everyone needs maintenance just like a car e.g checking the oil, filling the tank with petrol and so on.

AS BELIEVERS, WHAT ARE WE EXPECTED TO DO WHEN WE GATHER TOGETHER??

1. STUDYING OF GOD'S WORD- A Big Part of the gathering should be spent on studying and discussing the word of God. The lessons learnt from it, The wisdom and insights.
   This was also done by Early Christians, According to Acts 20:7
   Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

2. SINGING- As BRETHRENS, when we gather together, we should song to Glorify the name of the Lord.
   Sing Psalms, Hymns, Making Melody in our Heart to God

• I Also Learnt that the reason why we are to gather together as Believers is so the Doctrine of Christ would be fulfilled According to the scripture.
Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

• Gathering together as Believers is an important Obligation of Christ

MY BELIEFS THAT HAVE BEEN IMPROVED THROUGH LISTENING TO TODAY'S TEACHING

1. I LEARNT THAT, WHEN GOD WAS CREATING THE WORLD, THE ANGELS SANG TO GLORIFY HIM, THE CHERUBIMS, THE SERAPHIMS, THE 24 ELDERS

2. I LEARNT THAT, ALL THE ANGELS, IN HEAVEN STOOD ROUND ABOUT THE THRONE, AND THE ELDERS AND THE FOUR BEASTS, AND FELL BEFORE THE THRONE ON THEIR FACES, AND WORSHIPPED GOD,

3. I LEARNT THAT, WHEN WE PRAISE GOD, EVIL SPIRITS FLEE, JUST LIKE THE EVIL SPIRIT DEPARTED FROM SAUL WHEN DAVID SANG AND PLAYED THE HARP.

4. SINGING IS Very IMPORTANT, IT IS A GOOD THING TO SING PRAISES TO GOD AND GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD Most HIGH.

5. I LEARNT THAT SINGING STARTED EVEN BEFORE THE EARTH WAS CREATED, GOD AND THE ANGELS WERE SINGING.

HOW TODAY'S TEACHING AFFECTED ME AND MADE ME BECOME A BETTER PERSON WHICH I CAN EMULATE IN MY DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES

1. EVERYONE HAS A PSALM - 1 Corinthians 14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

SO, THEREFORE SINGING SHOULDN'T BE LEFT FOR THE CHOIR ALONE , ALL OF IS ARE EXPECTED TO SING UNTO GOD, BECAUSE IT IS A COMMANDMENT.

1. SO WE SHOULD LET THE WORD OF CHRIST , AND THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST, DWELL IN US RICHLY IN ALL WISDOM; TEACHING AND ADMONISHING ONE ANOTHER IN PSALMS AND HYMNS AND SPIRITUAL SONGS, SINGING WITH GRACE IN YOUR HEARTS TO THE LORD.

2. I KNOW NOW THAT I SHOULD WATCH AND PRAY SO I DON'T FALL INTO TEMPTATION
   To watch is to observe, I should be very observant.

3. I LEARNT THAT I SHOULD VE CONSIDERATE OF MY FELLOW BRETHREN TO LOVE AND TO GOOD WORKS

4. I LEARNT THAT I SHOULD NOT DISCRIMINATE AMONGST BRETHREN

MAY THE PEACE OF GOD, BE WITH US ALL BRETHREN
