HOW I MADE A LOVELY BISHOP COLLAR SHIRT IN LESS THAN 25 MINUTES
Hi everyone, I'm here again this beautiful to share with you my latest design. A simple shirt with a round collar, can also be called bishop collar.
It's a casual shirt that you can rock with Jean, Chinoz and even pant trousers.
I made this outfit under 25 minutes, it was an urgent work from my favourite client and I just had to deliver.
I thank God I was able to deliver in short time and most importantly he loves it and was able to meet up the occasion he wanted to attend. I took extra charge anyways 🤪
So let me share with you I made this happen.
Sorry I couldn't take much pictures cause I was rushing, but essential pictures was taken.
MATERIALS USED
- Fabric (vintage)
- Collar stay
- hemming gum
- Thread
- Buttons
These are all you need to make a shirt.
What I did first was cutting the fabric using the measurement but no picture was taken her because I was in haste, I'm so sorry about that.
This fabric isn't 100% cotton so sewing it isn't quite friendly that I had to gum some places like the allowances added for button allowances and the sleeves which made it easier for me.
SEWING PROCESS
After apply hemming gum on those places, I went ahead by joining the shoulders and back landing and then joined the sleeves.
Then I closed the body, crated the collar, gum to fabric and fixed to the shirt.
FINAL LOOK
