The 17th Birthday Of The Youngest Daughter

To surprised her, I wrote message and draw what popped up in my mind. I made differences from her own family because try are not celebrating birthday. But I taught her to be just grateful for another years of her life.

I became the great factor of her life most especially when she was a child, km I talked her parent to allow to watch English cartoon instead of Arabic.They were all afraid to let her watch English because they didn't understand though they were both a teacher. I told them that I would be the one to teach her speaking and understood English. I guided her on what she listened on the tv. There was no phone before. When they were all going to school, the baby was lying on the floor watching English version cartoons like Tom and Jerry. Two years old Meme, we talked in English without their knowledge. Then we had an agreements not to tell her family that we are talking. Since day 1 she slept in my side because my madam had illness.

When she enrolled in nursery at 4, the teacher surprised how she spoke English well. I was feeling on the pedestal as the news spread all over the clan that Deborah is a good tutor for English. I was in her room for 6 months. She was afraid if I went home. She want me and hold my dress so I stayed at her back. They appreciated my effort. What had happened her English pronunciation is better than mine. Because, honestly, she heard the correct US English accent according to what she heard. I just taught her to write , memorized alphabet and numbers. I was feeling proud that time. Some friends of my boss brought their children at home but they never learned like my Meme.

Fast forward, that's the part of her growing with me and now how grateful she is to me. Among 7 children of my boss, she is the only one who write, speaks and read a books and understand the topic very wellin English. One year to go, she will be in college at 18. She hopes that I am still here until she graduates but only time can tell about my future with them.

She was too happy and kept my gift under her pillow and promised me to kept it forever. I will be making a reels in fb to be shared here.
