My Wednesday Walk to the Sea

After light breakfast, it was time to go to the beach. It was my first day in Greece this season, and the sea was calling for me. The heat of the day was doing my walk a bit difficult, but the sea beckoned me and the anticipation of its coolness made the walk easier.

A fairly large garden with olive trees and fig bushes was lying on my way.

The mountains certainly add beauty to the landscape. In fact, they are not as far away as they seem in the photo.

The walk was not exhaustingly long, and here it is, the sea! I love this tree. A few years ago, benches were installed around it, and people can now sit in its shade while waiting for the bus that will take them from the beach to the hotel.

My friend, who arrived on the island a week earlier than me, was already waiting for me in our favorite cafeteria close to the shore.
Michalis, the owner of the cafeteria, seemed to be glad to see us and prepared wonderful coffee called Fredo Cappuccino, cold and very suitable for the hot weather.

Моя подруга, которая приехала на остров неделей раньше, чем я, уже ждала меня в нашем любимом кафетерии на берегу.
