Three Tune Tuesday Week 69: The Marvin Way.
Welcome to another episode of TTT or Three Tune Tuesday for those who don't know what TTT stands for. It's @ablaze day as I call it every Tuesday because he has helped in reigniting our desires to share what makes the world go around; music.
Music is powerful and it surely makes the world to around because of the burst of emotions you get. It's applicable for any kind of emotion you have and that's why we love it. It's expressive and acceptable.
Everyone knows my love for old music is off the chart hahahaha. I appreciate recent music too, why not? I just have this soft spot for old songs because of the deeper message they have. It's a perfect blend of good message, wonderful lyrics and perfect tune. So, I'm going the Marvin Gaye way today...
The first song I am going with for today is:
Artist: "Marvin Gaye"
Title of Song: "Let's Get It On."
You can also listen to this:
It's so funny the kind of things a lot of people say about this song. One guy said the kind of children that has been birthed with this song cannot be counted. One guy said this was his father's favourite song and it's not surprising why he has 7 siblings 🤣🤣😂😂. This song is soulful, romantic, sweet, adoring, amazing and ever green. If you don't like this song, I don't know what to say... It's okay...it just means that romance isn't in you 😂😂🤣😂😂 yet...
I love everything about this song. There is everything to love about this song and it's a song that has moved from one generation to another and would till keep moving because it can never run out of style and groove. You don't need to dance excessively to this song. So, even if you are bad at dancing, all you need to do is to just move your body gently to this song and you can never go wrong. Marvin Gaye, with this song, was officially donned as one of the greatest singers of baby-making music 😂😂🤣🤣... Who are we to disagree after this song has broken so many records and made too many babies? 🤣🤣😂😂. He made this song after he met with a lady who would later become his second wife; Janis Hunter.
The second song I am going with for today is:
Artist: "Marvin Gaye"
Title of Song: "Ain't No Mountain High Enough"
This is another classic tune that I can never get over. I love the simple choice of words and how deeply both singers; Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell felt the song. The video I shared above showed how both looked at each other with so much passion, so much feeling and so much emotions backing up the words they are speaking. I love when people feel songs deeply and this is one of the many reasons why I love this particular song. It's powerful, electric and real.
This song can be related to every aspect of life. It's not limited to love words alone but to success, desires and everything that you are determined to have.
The last song I am going with for today is:
Artist: "Marvin Gaye"
Title of Song: "Sexual Healing"
Even if a lot of people cannot relate to the two songs recommended above, I feel they can relate to this last one because it was all over the place when we were growing up. Oh... I like this song...not just the words but the beat. This guy is a genius because he knows how to get his lyrics in line with the perfect beat that makes his songs irresistible. It was dubbed the sexiest song ever hahaha and don't forget the first song I suggested by him too is one of the best baby making songs of all time hahaha. This guy is a romance specialist.
Sexual Healing song is his most successful song if I am not mistaken. There were a lot of controversies to this song with the songwriting credit and all but it can't take away from how brilliant this song is, regardless of who wrote it and Marvin Gaye brought it to life with his voice, passion and enthusiasm by feeling every single word in the song.
That's all I have for us for TTT today... I'm sure you can't go wrong going the Marvin way for today and the rest of the week...
Thank you for your time.

Oh my! You just woke the spirit in me this early morning. I am already dancing and moving my body on the chair I sat on. So beautiful song and I can say, old songs were meaningful and with deep feelings than our "sakusaku" songs we dey listen upandan today 😂😂
With the second song? So amazing and I feel the connection too.
For the last song "spiritual healing", I love the part it says "get up get up, let's make love tonight" 🤩🤩🤩

Ha ha, we are cut from the same cloth. I give modern music a chance too, but most of my favorites are from the 70s/80s/90s/00s Haha
Ah yes, Marvin Gaye, some performer. I wonder how many babies he is responsible with all those sensual songs!! Ha ha
Ain't No Mountain High Enough and Sexual Healing another couple of absolute classics - Rest in Peace Marvin, what a performer.
He was a performer I have to give him that and his voice was unique too. He knows how to own those songs with the power of his voice. He sure has fathered a lot of children indirectly with his sensual songs 😂😂🤣🤣😂😂.
Yaaaaaay. Cheers to old and classic tunes... 🍾🍷
