How Can We Serve Together?
One of the many ways we can do this life together is by impacting lives and living a generous life. What do you have that you have not received? If you have received it, why boast as though you haven't? We all need one another and we also need to participate in the things of Christ.
We all have varying talents which can be channelled to making the work of God grow. We all have something to offer. We often focus on what we don't have and ignore the thing we have that we can use for greater good.
Generosity is not limited to money. It involves money but not limited to money. We have time...we have words of encouragement to give and so many other things that comes naturally to us or that is embedded in us based on who we are. It's all about commitments because when we are committed to the things of God, we would always find ways or avenues to help...however the help comes.
God wants us to be generous with our time and available resources because generosity creates the kind of community that makes everyone want to succeed. Our generosity is a way of appreciating God through thanks. There is no good deed that would go unrewarded because God have His ways through which He can reward us.
Generosity defeats materialism. We have the culture of always taking and not giving out. We want to hoard as much as we can...thinking we are defined by the things we hoard. We are defined by the things we give out not by the things we hoard.
Generosity strengthens our faith. There are times when you have little but you see someone close to you who is even having it worse than we are... We might be led to give even the little we have. You might even be going through a rough patch and you are led to make someone else happy even when your own happiness is hanging by a thread. God works in mysterious ways and God won't use you to meet the needs of others and then abandon you in your own time of need. It's an act of faith that defies human understanding but that's the way faith works...it defies logic. It's not always what you sow you reap...you reap even a hundred fold...so it's always important to be careful about what we sow...
Generosity is an investment for eternity. We are to use our worldly resources for eternal gains. We sow ahead...we water ahead...we are to be concerned with the things that matters to God. We have to be rich in good works. As humans, as Christians and even as a community, we should be rich in good works...always ready to share...storing up treasures for ourselves in Heaven.
Generosity blesses us in return. Generosity is not generosity if it's not done with sincerity of heart or it is done grudgingly. Generosity produces happiness. When you give from your heart, there is this joy that comes into your heart when you see how much it means to that person. We need to have a heart of Thanksgiving...it makes us appreciate the things we get and of course, not to abuse it.
Be generous not with the intention of impressing anyone. You are doing it to help and be a blessing on to others and not to take accolades. We all need one another and when we have each other's backs, that's how we grow.

I can't agree less on this. Just like the body parts, they all work together, each one with something to offer. So are we expected to be, We all need one another. Let's be generous.
You are absolutely right, sometimes a smile, helping a person cross a street, etc., all those small details are more important than money and people appreciate it, which is the most important and satisfying thing for us.
I have also seen many families who do not respect each other and many problems are going on in their family. This is the way we all should not live at all because life is only given once and we All people should laugh together and handle their problems together then life can be good.

Generosity is something we humans are supposed to learn to do, like helping those in indeed and caring for one another, and by doing this we will all grow together as one.
What a great post awesome friend, we should always be generous regardless of the circumstance in which we are, there is a saying that my mother always tells me, do good without looking at who, that all good deeds are from the heart and not because it is the right thing to do, I wish people who accumulate things knew that they will not take anything when it is their turn to leave this earthly plane, let us be generous with each other to the extent of our possibilities, great post friend, I delight myself reading it ♥
Can two walk together except they agree? We all need one another. I love this scriptural dose you gave us as you hit every point with deep meaning. We need one another and that's how we form our own tribe or community.
Every line of what you've written here is true. We all have a way we can affect other people's life, being able to do those things with the right mindset is generosity.
There are rewards for every act, both on earth and in eternity, and like you said, sometimes we reap in hundreds of folds, not measureable to what we sowed. That's why the Bible encourage that we shouldn't be weary in well doing because in due time we will receive our reward.
The bond of family is stronger than all the bonds in the world and when all these people are together, even the most troubling things are passed with laughter and when there are problems in the family, everyone is very sad. It is better to live a life that a person should spend his life with laughter and happiness with his family, the way we see that you care a lot for your daughter.
