At What Cost, Really?

Allow me to flaunt my friend again...

Where does it go from here when all we ever feed is our greed?
When does it ever stop when nothing seem to stop our feed?
We live for what we can take from others to gain better grounds
We compete with one another rather than see each other grow
Your shine won't stop mine, so why can't we shine together?
We take competitiveness to another level and for some, I understand
When people are fuelled with drama, you don't have to attend the party
When does it ever stop where we choose humanity over partiality?
Where does it stem from that we focus on our greed and ignore humanity?
How do we keep containing and feeding this at the expense of another life?
We all have dreams I believe...we all have goals too
At what length are we willing to go to achieve it?
At what cost and what price are we willing to pay for it?
To the detriment of another at all cost and not fair play to the spirit of usual competitiveness?
There are so many things I can never explain and I understand
I understand we are all different and only those in certain shoes can explain
But there are some boundaries I am not willing to cross and that's just me.

Thank you for your time.

My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks, with speed and ease.

Still me,

My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.

Most people don't care and that's sad. They don't care whose ox is gored as long as they have their way. At what cost? That's a good question. Most people are dead to their conscience. They killed it intentionally by consistently ignoring it.

Most people don't care just like you have rightly said. This isn't even the end justifying the means because it can never. Most people lost their souls for material gains which would fade. It's sad.

The human heart is too selfish to care about another person's win. Everyone wants to have it all to himself. If only we could work together without any competition then we will win together and I believe the world will be a better place then

That's it...it all starts from the heart. So many wickedness stems from the heart and most people allow it. They don't give a hoot what happens as long as they have their own ways.

Another great poem and reflection my friend, because it is simply human nature, as I have mentioned to you in other posts, people want to see you good but not better than them, if only we could give more of what we have instead of getting and getting, I think we would be a better society, but well dreaming doesn't cost anything, by the way in the second picture in that portrait is you hahahaha, abrazos amigo mio ♥

We can make the world a better place, no doubt. I love what you said about people wanting us to be good but not better than them. With a competitive heart like that, wickedness is bound to grow.

Thank you very much my friend. No, that's not me. She went for a wedding and I think that should be the groom...not sure.

There's enough resources in this world to go round. All we need is to be creative in order to harness it, rather than competing against one another.

The world has enough of our needs but never enough for our greed. Greed is the deciding factor that determines what goes round and doesn't.

Greedy is one of the major problems that has eaten into us humans. People only care about themselves and their well-being, they only want to see themselves succeed while their neighbours remain stagnant. All these are the causes of greediness. But if only we could take each other as brothers and sisters and care for one another, we would all grow together.

Greed has eaten to the very core of human existence. We want everything. We want it all without caring what state the other person would be or others who should also benefit from it.

The downfall of a man is greed and if not well tamed, can lead a man to destruction. Someone said every human has greed but it differs in level but I fail to agree to that. Does it mean when one desire success, it is a sign of a little greed
