🎊✨Celebrating Splinterlands 6 Year Anniversary!🎊✨

I'm very thrilled to be among the Splinterlands family and to join the thousands of Splinterlands players globally to celebrate her 6th year anniversary 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. Splinterlands has been a blessing to so many lives and I pray they grow, and even exceed their bounds this new year✨✨
It's been a really lovely, bumpy, strenuous, and profitable ride so far. I would call it a roller-coaster of so many activities and emotions. I've learnt a lot and come so far since I started, although not up to my goals yet. Despite all this, I'm very happy to be a part of Splinterlands.

In line of the celebration, I'd like to answer some questions put forward by Splinterlands: concerning how I discovered the game, time I've spent playing, my achievements so far and many more.

Discovery of Splinterlands

I actually discovered Splinterlands here on hive. It was through peoples' posts on the Splinterlands community. I always saw posts about Splinterlands and it got me curious. So I asked a friend who's been here for a really long time about Splinterlands. He then told me all I needed to know(well, not really 😅) and gave me his referral link. That was how my Splinterlands Journey began.

Duration of Participation

I've been in the Splinterlands realm for about 8 months, so I'd consider myself a seasoned veteran. Although, I've not been quite active for some seasons but I've witnessed so many come and go. I've also witnessed so many changes and adjustments to the mechanics of Splinterlands.

Time spent in Splinterlands

When I newly started playing splinterlands, it consumed a great part of my day. But now, I've been able to juggle it with other activities in my life. So I spend about 30 mins to an hour on it daily. I don't only play; I also go through their community on hive and other socials to see if there's any new information.

Accomplishments

I've not accomplished so much, I realised it's a gradual process and I don't want to be in a hurry. Although, I've reached silver 11 a couple of times which seems to be my most recent or biggest accomplishments. I've also gotten so many common and rare cards from rewards that are beneficial to my deck,although they're mainly soulbound cards. Alongside that, I've reached over 5k sps from my time playing in the game. But I've unstaked and withdrawn most of it already.

Upcoming Goals

I have a few upcoming goals and I try to be as realistic as possible. First is accumulating over 5k sps in the next 3 months. I can do this if I remain consistent and also actively take part in brawls and try my best in tournaments. I also aim to reach the gold league and not fall from there.

Advice for Beginners

I won't lie, the first few weeks or months could be very difficult as a beginner. My advice to beginners is not to rush the learning process because as far as you're playing Splinterlands, you'd keep learning everyday. Don't make unrealistic goals as a beginner and set a strict time reserved to Splinterlands. Also, don't get caught up in thinking it's a get-rich-quick scheme, enjoy the process and you'd profit a lot. Don't be discouraged by defeats because they'll make you better and stronger.
