Water in my ear and the discomfort that came with it.

Hello everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. For our survival as humans we really do need our sense organs, without these sense organs we would always be in a position where harm comes our way. As we all know the human body is made up of five sense organs which includes: the nose for smells, eyes for sight, skin for touch, the tongue for taste, and the ear for hearing, they are all very small organs but plays a vital role in our day to day activities. For us to have a successful day, we need these organs and it's funny how when one suffers the other organs will react to the situation too.

designed in canva.

These sense organs are connected and work hand in hand, when you have a problem with the eye, you start suffering a runny nose, when you apply medication to the eye you get to taste the medication on your tongue, all these and many others proves that these sense organs are connected and tends to suffer each others fate. We have all had experiences with these sense organs, some of these experiences were pleasant and some we do not want to remember. I remember waking up with Apollo once and my eyes felt like they were going to fall off, I avoid looking at the ground for every reason because of the pain whenever I do that.

For this prompt I will be focusing on just one sense organ which is the ear, the ear is divided into three main parts with the pinna as the outer part which we can all see, touch and feel. The role the ear plays in our lives makes it difficult for it to be replaced or for another organ to play it role, it is the organ used for hearing but that is not the only role it plays as it as well provides the human body with balance, funny how one of the smallest parts of the body is what helps the body to maintain balance.

It is a small organ but if anything happens to it like harm or what is not supposed to go inside of it goes in, the pain that comes with such makes you have great respect for the ear. I have seen adults cry because a cotton wool got stuck in their ear in the process of trying to keep the ear clean, that alone got me convinced that the ear is small but mighty if it can make adults cry like babies. I never for once let harm go anywhere near my ear with how it makes adults cry, only thinking about what it'd feel like scared me so I protected my ear with everything I have got but some harm are quite inevitable.

One early morning I was preparing for school, I don't know how it happened and a few drops of water found it way into my right ear. Started like a joke, I could no longer play around like other kids as it always feels like an arrow hit my eardrum whenever I move. I became very gentle and calm, I stopped being rough. As always African moms have a remedy 😂, a neighbour suggested that if they drop water in the ear and I turn the right ear towards the ground after a few seconds both the water in the ear and one just added will come out. After this was done both waters refused to come out and my pain increased 😂, felt like I was losing my mind.

Whenever I move I feel like a half bottle of water 😂, I feel the motion of the water in my ear and also hear the sound. I was advised to be sleeping with my right ear on the pillow, it will help, it was this method that helped me and on the third day I heard like a pop sound and I raised my only to see my pillow a little bit wet and that is how I regained myself. I added more safety measures to help keep my ear safe.

Thanks for reading my post.

The connections between these sense organs is unusual.

After this was done both waters refused to come out and my pain increased 😂, felt like I was losing my mind.

Oh boy, that was bad 😂. The half bottle of water got me laughing bro, I could imagine you hearing the sound in your ears. Sleeping on that side of the affected ear is the safest solution I know.
