My type of Monday
Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. I don't know if it's just me, but I get some kind of feeling whenever it's Monday, it causes me to think heavily as I will be bothered about what the week has installed for me. Many believe that how stressful or free a week will be is actually determined by what you face on Monday. Since I was a child, I have never liked Mondays, and now that I am getting older, I am yet to find a reason to like Mondays.

It's the beginning of the week, and on this day you resume work or school after resting over the weekend. Lately, the weekend feels like it's not enough to rest anymore. You have not even rested enough, and it's Monday again back to work or school, whether you like it or not. Here in school, Mondays are one of the most stressful days of my life. I hate 8 a.m classes, but I have an 8 a.m class to attend every Monday. Attending classes from 8 a.m to 5 p.m every Monday, what other reason do I need to be scared of Mondays?
I believe there are many like me out there who wish for activities on Mondays to kick off by 10 a.m; at least you will have enough time to rest and recuperate enough energy to kick off your week. Mondays down here start as early as 5 a.m, all depending on your schedule and where you work. Students like me who try to be in class quite early start our Mondays by 6 a.m, no matter how late we slept the previous night.
Sometimes I feel like I am being forced to start my activities that early. Every Sunday is movie night for me, so I sleep very late and am still forced to leave my bed very early in the morning. Once my alarm rings off by 5:30, I rush to snooze, but I won't be able to fall asleep again, so I just lie on the bed, thinking about how to leave the bed. Sometimes I grumble, and I really can't wait to be done with school, but the thing is, even when done with school, it will be the same thing after you get a job.
My type of Monday is one where activities start late; 10 a.m should be okay, but if left for me, I would say 11 a.m.Then I would have gathered enough energy to jump out of bed, say my prayer, and carry out a few chores. After carrying out my chores, I hit the kitchen to get breakfast done, after which I would eat to my satisfaction before leaving the room. Mondays that start so early put so much pressure on me and won't even let me have breakfast before leaving the house.
Also, on Mondays, no work or school should keep students and workers past 4 p.m, at least so they can have time for themselves. Sometimes I come back from school on Mondays by 6 p.m, which I will have assignments to do and classes to attend as early as 8 a.m on Tuesdays, I have little or no time for myself. I might not have eaten throughout the day, and when I get home instead of wanting to eat, I will first of all get my assignment done, which might take an hour or two.
My type of Monday won't permit such; at least you are free by 4 p.m, and you can even take part in sporting activities if you wish. I used to play football, but thanks to school, I no longer get the chance to play. But with my type of Monday comes the chance to chill and relax. When you get home at 4 p.m, you can decide to rest or play sports before worrying about assignments or work. Eat dinner as early as possible. Some might see it as a lazy man's type of Monday, but for me, it's ideal what Mondays should be like: less stress and some time for yourself.
Thanks for reading my post.
Thanks hivenaija 🇳🇫🇳🇬
The way yes going, Monday should just turn to one more weekend for you. LOL. I totally understand how challenging school can be, especially on Mondays. Five hours in school isn't bad, really.
😂😂
My brother if Monday is made part of weekend, I wouldn't mind at all.
Yay! 🤗

You still have to deal with Monday, better to accept it because it's here to stay.
Well, I totally understand.
I think is because of the weekend before it.
If Monday wasn't there, you could have disliked Tuesday too.
😂😂
You really got the point, Monday means resting days are over and we are back to work.
Thanks for stopping by.
You are welcome dear
