Health, they say, is wealth.
Hello, everyone.
One thing we all pray for as we go about our daily activities is that we go back home to our loved ones safely and soundly. Funny how sometimes we go back home hale and hearty, not knowing that we have brought a thing or two home. This is why we must be careful where we enter, what we eat, and who we even take things from. The spread of dreaded diseases these days is on the increase, and it is up to us to ensure our safety, as no one will do that for us.

Whether we live in a nuclear family or an extended family house, introducing flu and other diseases is a situation that can be handled and managed properly if and only if every member of the family is careful enough as they move about having it at the back of their mind that contacting anything means they put the entire family at risk, which is why being careful and cautious about everything we do when we are out there is everyone's job, not just that of our parents or siblings.
Back home, we were properly raised in my family and told about how important health is. My mom will always be there to remind my dad that it is healthy person that moves around walking and working, especially when he is tired and exhausted but wants to keep going instead of getting some rest. I have seen for myself how people care less about their health all in the name of looking for money and, in the end, using the money they were able to raise to treat themselves, which is not a good way to go. Back home, my mom had some set-up rules that, even though I am away from home, I still keep them.
Handwashing is a must: For us guys, especially because handshakes are our thing whenever we step out of the house, and since we live in a neighborhood where we have friends and are well known, it is expected that we shake at least five people before we get to where we are going, which makes handwashing the moment you step back into the house a must. It was difficult for me at first, but the day I received a dirty slap from Mom, each time I forget, I remember that slap and how it echoed in my head, and I am forced to act right.
If you feel I sick say it at the early stages: My mom, as a nurse, then made it known that diseases can be curbed at the early stages, and you don't have to wait until it is chronic or has eaten deep before you start looking for a remedy. That has helped us all stay healthy because even with a slight headache, you are already on medication.
Take personal hygiene seriously: It is no news that one way to stay healthy and live a good life is by taking good care of ourselves, keeping our bodies clean, and doing it at the right time and regularly.
Thanks for reading my post.
Health has been overrated by lots of people all in the name of chasing money and trying to improve their lifestyle but in the end, they are forced to take care of themselves thereby spending all the money they have worked for on their sickness. Of what use then? We should take care of our health and always make it our priority to put health first before anything.
A lot of people think money is all that matters and give little or no care to their health.
It will get to a point where money won't be able to cure a sickness and we must try to be cautious of that and give optimum priority to our health.
That’s actually true, most health problems could have been solved in their early stages.. sometimes it’s just routine you have to change and you’re good to go.
I recently found out a reason why I was getting migraines every night and I’ve changed that thing and now I’m okay
A lot of people let it eat deep before they start looking for remedies, and most times it is already late.
Thanks for stopping by Eve.
You have said it all my brother. Most importantly you need to wash your hands frequently and adequately because that the best way through which you can attract germs that are harmful and dangerous to your health. Have a nice day bro 🍻
Health is wealth bro. Thanks for stopping by.
