Finding solace: peace, the one thing we all crave

Welcome to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. At some point in our lives we are all faced with problems of life that push us into sadness, and sadness is not a feeling we want to experience for long hence the need to find solace and peace. The way we find peace and solace differs from one individual to another; sometimes it seems like a difficult thing to do, but staying sad for long has a negative effect, which makes it very important that every individual finds a way to find happiness again after a sad moment or experience. One can go from being sad to being depressed; sadness is a gateway for depression to creep on a person, which is why it is very important that we all do what helps us find happiness again after feeling sad.

Sadness is a feeling every human being must suffer from time to time; you just cannot escape it, which is why every individual must develop a strategy or method to help them deal with it since it is impossible to do away with the feeling. Feeling sad from time to time is like a normal part of human life, but how one bounces back from feeling sad to finding happiness again is something many people find very difficult, which is very bad for their mental health. Sadness can mess up one's mental health if given the chance, which is why the importance of fighting it at an early stage and finding happiness again after feeling sad cannot be overemphasized.
Happiness in the life of every individual is essential; the happiness of any individual should not be taken for granted for any reason. I always see quotes online encouraging people to do only what makes them happy and only hang around people who make them happy. Funny how what makes us happy differs from one individual to another; the absence of happiness in the life of any individual can result in a lot of negative things; suicidal thoughts come to the mind when one is not happy, which is why happiness ought to be taken seriously as well as making sure those around us are happy as well.
Music: They say music is therapeutic, and I have experienced it. Whenever I feel so sad, I just run to my playlist, put my earpiece on, and in no time I'd start feeling better, and overtime the sadness disappears into thin air. Music can change one's mood without wasting much time; all you need is music that fits the mood, and before you know it, you'll be moving your body to the music, and from there, you'll forget about whatever was bothering you.
Engage in activities I love (hobbies): Another way I find happiness again after losing it is by getting engaged in activities that I love. I am a football lover, and one of the few things that makes me extremely happy is when I am on the football pitch. Whenever I feel sad and want to be happy without wasting much time, I just hit the pitch. You cannot go to the field sad and come back feeling the same way. Engaging in fun activities works like magic.

I agree with you that when we are sad, we should find ways to be happy. If we remain sad for a long time, it has a negative impact on our life.
I also like music and I listen to music every day according to my mood. I also feel that music can help you forget your sorrow for some time.
