Dieting or exercise: which is better?

Welcome to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. The human body needs to be kept fit; otherwise, it will lose shape and form, and there are two major ways to help keep the body fit and in shape: exercising and a good diet. Funny how some people say they do not need exercise as they are not fat. people believe the only reason to get involved in exercise is if you want to burn fat, and if you don't want to, then there is no need to even indulge in the least of exercises.

I have a very slim friend who enjoys running every morning and evening, and I find others who do not know the importance of exercise laugh at him and ask questions like what he plans to achieve because clearly he has no fat to burn, but indulging in exercise is not all about burning fat; it helps the body stay fit and active. There are people who are not fat and, for that reason, don't indulge in any form of exercise and, for that reason, cannot walk a few miles without gasping for breath. Regular exercise does a lot for the body, especially the heart, and helps keep it healthy. When you exercise regularly, you can walk miles and even run miles without feeling you did a thing.

Also on dieting, one thing I have come to realize is that we are a product of what we eat. Every day of our lives, we eat different things, and in the process, we eat things that are not healthy or good for our health, which is why we must take dieting seriously as well. Everyone ought to be careful what goes down their throat, as there are often consequences when the wrong thing goes down our throats. Some people just eat anything and everything, not minding the after effects or the composition of what they are eating.

Lately, I have been made to understand that most of the junk food we eat is not really healthy, nor is it advised if you want to stay fit. Eating sausages like your life depends on it feels like a way to enjoy one's money, but the truth is that it is one of the major causes of heart disease, cancer, and so many other dreaded diseases. As much as eating is good, we must watch our diet and regulate the intake of everything we eat to help us stay fit and healthy. What we eat will either help us or break us.

For me, I feel both dieting and exercise are good combos that help us stay healthy and fit. You cannot go to the gym daily to burn fat, then return home and consume food and meals with high fat content. That simply means that all the time and effort spent at the gym was a total waste because you have just replaced the fat you burned. So in order to see results, you must be willing to regulate your diet as you go about your regular exercise and try to keep fit and stay healthy. Just carrying out regular exercise cannot help you stay fit. You must watch your diet and eat healthy as well.

I think both of them are important, if we do one thing and don't do the other, we will never be able to build a beautiful body and continue to live in trouble, so it's better to focus on both.
